Pete Murray

I bought Pete Murray's first album "Feeler" after hearing the song "So Beautiful" on the TV at my gym and I immediately fell in love with it after the first listen. I haven't stopped listening to it since the day I bought it.

His first album was released just last year, and already he's coming out with a new one. After hearing the first single "Better Days" (and then buying the single with two extra songs "Belong to Yesterday" and "Back On") I have all faith that See the Sun will be equally, if not more so, spectular to "Feeler".

The wait is over - Pete Murray returns with his highly-anticipated second album 'See The Sun'. After a massively successful 2004 that saw his debut album 'Feeler' hit six times platinum and earn him five ARIA nominations, Pete Murray returns with a sublime album that delivers on all the promise of 'Feeler' and gives more.

'See The Sun' comprises 12 songs that range from soul-baring intensity to joyous rock'n'roll celebration. And, as the title implies, it's an album that's perfectly suited for sunshine and summer.

The album was recorded with Pete's touring band, now dubbed The Stonemasons, road-hardened after two years of spreading the word about 'Feeler', and working closely with him during the rigorous writing process which produced the core of the songs which grace 'See The Sun'.

First single 'Better Days' and classic-in-waiting 'Opportunity' capture the album's theme of hope and optimism, anthems that wrap themselves deep inside the cortex, destined to be sung by a chorus of thousands at Pete Murray shows this summer. But the same might be said of almost every song on 'See The Sun', recorded in Melbourne this year and co-produced by Murray and Eric Sarafin (Ben Harper, Michael Franti).

One of Australia's top live performers, Pete will be hitting the road for a huge national tour with The Freemasons later this year to deliver his new cuts live. The limited edition album comes in a digi-pak.

There is not a single bad song on "Feeler", and as of yet, I don't know of any bad songs at all by Pete Murray. You can download the song Feeler off the site (here).

After downloading the song you should go out right now and buy "Feeler" and then go out again on the 25th (this sunday) and buy "See The Sun".

Bump.

I bought See The Sun a couple of days ago and it is undescribably awesome. It's equally as great as the first album, and the first album's already the best in existence.

Some of the greater songs on the album include Trust, Opportunity, Lost Soul, Smile, Security and This Pill. But the whole album blew my load.

So yeah, go and get it, because if you don't everyone will assume you wear short pants.

Why do you keep making unpopular topics in here?

Listen to the c*nt and you'll see why I feel it's necessary to tell the world about him.

@ToyMachine - You can't comment on music when you have such linear tastes. The only genre/s you like are the outcast ones no one else likes. So when you say you don't like something that someone else has recommended, you're the one thats the loner puss with bad taste. Go back to your Slipknot and Cat Empire, cockeyes.

Aren't you the one who told us to listen to some old asshole saying he's the best thing ever? Then coming out and saying that it was a joke topic.
