cksnah252
Wassup yall!! well lets get straight to the point. Why is that every file that i download from gtagarage.com, it doesnt work. Like all of the files i download is named "file". It is not a zip file, or anything. What is wrong?
Knife
It may be a .rar file which you will need a program called winrar (google it) or something that can open .rar files. It could also be a .ggmm file which you need the gta garage mod manager thingy (download from gta garage)
cksnah252
It cant be a rar file, because i have a rar extractor, but the gta garage thing, imma try to download it and see wassup!
GT-1
Can you please provide a link to the modification/files which you are trying to download please? Most of the files hosted on GTAGarage.com are .zip or .rar files. You can use winRAR to unzip the files from within the archive. winRAR can unzip both .zip and .rar file extensions. Have you got this or another program which only unzips .zip files?
Mike
I think this is a problem with some browsers. They try to download file.php rather than the actual file.

GTA3Freak-2001
What file are you trying to dowload? ie. what mod?
fred
What are you using to download? If it's a web browser, which one and which version? The only explanation I can think of would be the browser (or download manager program) you're using is ignoring the headers sent by the server which include the filename. Have you tried launching WinRAR (or equivalent) and then opening the file through that, rather than just double clicking on it?
ajkhan316`
i did but i cant do anything with it. Just double click on the file and a window will pop up. Select "select the program from a list" and the select the Win.RAR execution file. Click OK and the file would open up in Win.RAR. i had this trouble also. - FiJiAn 4 LiFe
