Lazzo
This is f*cking driving me off the wall! I'm ready to throw my monitor right out the window. The problem? I wish I could say. I'll provide screen shots of what's happening when I start word and I will provide some screenshots. If someone could provide some insight it would be greatly appreciated. Those are the two error messages I keep getting whenever I start word (right after it prompts me that I need to install it). It's so strange because it's a legal version of the product and I also have a legal version of WinXP Home. If someone could help it would greatly be appreciated. (Sorry about bad grammar. I'm very frustrated.) "romance at short notice was her speciality."
Bond996
It sounds like something has been corrupted. Try reinstalling it, or uninstalling and then reinstalling it.

See, the problem is that I've lost my install disc. Well, I have an idea where it is but it's at my dad's house and that makes it a little harder to get to. MSWord2002 error: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-u...id=2525&sid=216 Try that first as see if it fixes both problems and get back to me lol, I had already been there. What threw me off was that it only had fixes for ME and 98. "romance at short notice was her speciality."
Knightmare
You could possible do a repair from Add/Remove programs, but that would probably need the original disc, which you say is at your dads house. Thanks -shaDow

That's probably what I'm going to have to resort to. Thanks, everyone, for your help. EDIT: But! If someone can help...please do! Another thing would be to run Office Update, or a manual Service Pack patch for it might help. Again, requires the disc.
Lazzo
Turns out the software bundle the company that built my computer gave me didn't come with Office Suite 2002...so I'm sh*t out of luck. Another strange happening though...when I restart my computer, MS Word works but after the system has been on awhile (and MS Word hasn't been accessed) it goes through all of those errors. It's strange. "romance at short notice was her speciality."
