Hyper
I have a problem. I've never had this problem before, just this whole week. The game freezes every 30 minutes. After 30 min, it comes back again, vice versa. Is there a way to terminate the freeze? but once I ctrl alt delete, the game is minimized and I mazimize it again, it works. I just want to get rid of this problem, because it is annoying to ctrl alt delete everytime. Wolf68k
It runs fine for 30mins and then freezes for 30mins? What do you have running in the background? Done a spware scan lately? Some what off topic: AMD Athlon 3200+ 2.01GHz. 64-bit?
Vin.
Yes, make sure you don't have a heap of programs running in the background, do a virus scan, adware scan, etc. Also, when you have the time, try doing a defrag, this will help clear up some memory, and might also fix up the problem. Hyper
I did all the scans and did a disk defrag. I do it occasionally. I do have a anti-virus called "Shaw Secure" I wonder if it affects the gameplay. I also have Microsoft Antispyware. Anymore solutions? Edit: The game freezes for 20 seconds every 30 minutes. Vin.
Did you buy the version of San Andreas from eBay or something, if you did, make sure It's a legit version of the game. If you didn't, make sure the cd isn't scratched or anything. It's a weird problem.
Hyper
I bought it before it was rated AO. Got it the day it came out. Also, if you have a scratched disc, what can you do to "unscratch" it /fix.
Vin.
Buy a cd scratch repair kit from your local super market, something like this should do the trick. If not, try borrowing a friends copy of the game, trying it on your PC and see if you can play theirs. If it runs ok, It's definately your cd that's the problem.
