Sleep & sleepless mod

I noticed some people liked the idea of a sleeping mod..

The problem is i cant program this and i dont even have the pc version of SA, just the xbox ver...

But anyways, lemme explain the situation..

As everyone seems to like the "real-life" situations mods, why not have a mod which makes CJ need some sleep every day?

It would be nice to have the save icon in every house moved to the bedroom, and adding the option "sleep" in the save dialog.

As saving the game already costs some hours ingame, why not change "save" into Save & sleep", so you could either choose to "Sleep" (least ammount of sleeping hours available is 5, CJ needs 5 hours sleep every day, more info about this will come under [more ideas]) or "Save & sleep" (this needs no change as saving already uses 6 hours).

CJ needs to get atleast 5 hours of sleep every day, if he doesnt sleep he should get tired, getting tired will affect his abilities untill he sleeps for 5 hours again.

 

More ideas:

If the things above are possible for SA, than why not add some more serious sh*t..

If CJ doesnt sleeep 1 day, he will be tired the following 2 days.

After 3 days CJ will loose fat and muscles fast.

Whenever CJ skips sleeping, he will need to sleep 2 extra hours the next day.

If CJ hasnt slept for 5 days, he will become real sick, and his health and abilities will slowly drop untill he finds a bed quickly, he will need a total of 15 hours sleep to get well again.

 

Now here's a little catch, if someone can make this mod, i would really apprieciate it if he/she could make me a version to use on my xbox...

I really do hate useless stuff being added in the game by rockstar ect the fitness thing in san an was just about berable and food was just a bit anoyying but anymore and we might aswell change the graphics of the sims and then put a few guns in.

eh, it was more like very creative critisizm, however destructive, but creative nonetheless. I wouldn't do some dumb thing like this. I have better things to do when I'm not controlling the ape man then watch him sleep. pfft. Save, shut down, do something, play again. Forget this idea or do it yourself, bro.

oh cmon now, you went thru with all the gym n food n health stats n so on, yet youre ragging on about the sleep feature which also could come into play when things like tiredness n hunger n getting fat or thin can really affect your gameplay. and sleeping could possibly be a cool idea to have in this game, a game thats centered on customization, looking afta yourself, getting gf's, getting buff, looking skinny, getting a new haircut, buying new clothes, even having HOT COFFEE.

 

man dont let any1 tell you crap about your ideas n i think it can be doable.

from what i read sumwhere in sum mods, you can have any save disc's anywhere so thats possible.

 

getting an option 2 pick how many hrs you can sleep upto is also doable, as you can now be able to make new menu's when triggered by sumthing n be able to select stuff 2 enable/disable.

 

for the sleeping animations for cj to make like he's asleep you can grab one of the animations from the other peds that uses the sleep anims in the burgulary missions and also the mission cj and ryder does where it showcases how you can get around while stealing stuff while the guy upstairs snores his head off. even add a snoring sound for cj as he sleeps while the scren fades to black.

 

cmon ppl no negativity here. just good honest suggestions to enhance more of san andreas.

Uh, I never tried hot gay ass coffee and CJ already "sleeps" 6 hours every time you save.

 

As for the other stats, they go up and down just playing. You never have to work out, it's just faster that way. He loses wieght/gains muscle mass while doing missions and runnng about in the city.

 

I played The Sims for GBA and absolutely thought it was teh gayzor for you to have to watch the player sleep. I even compared "wtf why can't sleep be taken care of like in SA?" Still, I knew then that the very nature of the sims was just that, a life-sim. Regardless, it will get done if those who ike the idea/made up the idea research and implement the various things needed to be done to fulfil the idea. I don't see many others participating in such a sleepy mod

and you say hot coffee is "gay" now? how is too gay to see 2 ppl who are straight having sex eh?

 

anyway i doubt that sum missions make you be able to be ripped and toned n that takes time.

i just dont get why ppl dont like to be able to customize their own character in a game like this? as far as i know, this game has evolved sooo much thru the yrs that sum ppl, dont even appreciate the new stuff added to the series n all they are when theyre whinge on about hot coffee or working our are just lil brats.

You were whining about the CJ going to the toilet mod and double posting all over the place. No-one cared yet you kept trying to force your view on other people

 

As for the idea, its not bad, may come in handy for some people if they need to advance without saving. Although there is a time cheat

im not forcing any views on any1, im trying to show others here that a lil gameplay tweak to the game wouldnt hurt, n also it would b helpful for others not to be dissing on other ppl's ideas without any good critiquing with a bit of explanation involved.

 

im only doing my best to encourage sum ideas n creativity to this medium. a good example of that creativity b good ideas is that sum1 with a good idea made a mod that added the giggle cream you spray at others to make other peds ingame laugh their heads off until they die. now thats pretty cool
