SmellyJelly
Today my mouse just randomly broke so I need a new one. It should be optical and most of all VERY cheap. I don't really like spending $50 on a mouse that is just as good as a $10 mouse. Also I mainly play games on my computer. Once again I would rather not have to install drivers. Here's what I have so far. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16826156004 So what do you think? BTW is it bad to clean the outside of your mouse with window cleaner? What about the monitor, speakers, ect?

GTA3Freak-2001
The latest from Logitech is what I'd recomend, best mice on the planet. You should be able to get a basic MX510 or whatever the current wired optical mouse form logitech is for about 50 dollars US or if not deifintely under 100 bucks. You could also go for a wireless one but hey its up to you if want to spend the extra.

Cran.
Just get any basic Microsoft optical mouse, not to sound like an idiot, but it's a pretty decent mouse. My brother seems to be able to game with it fine, and he plays CoD 24/7, well almost. I've got a PS/2 Genius optical mouse, it's fine for me I game quite a bit. No i'm not cheap James rattles on about self
EmSixTeen
I'd really recommend investing in a Logitech mouse, any MX5** mouse would be great.. £15~ (so I'd guess around $30 at a straight exchange). Great for everything, comfortable, good to game with, no annoyances, feels the right weight, more precise.. Just great.

Though i ordered a logitech MX-510 yesterday cause ive heard its one of the best gaming mouses available. riccbhard
I might be a little late; but I suggest a Kensington mouse. They are nice. I have a Kensington 'Mouse-in-a-box'. The mouse model # is 72121 EDIT: This one: http://www.kensington.com/html/4011.html CompUSA has it I know for sure. I think Newegg does too. SmellyJelly
Thanks for the replys everyone. First I don't really want a wireless mouse because I hear the are bad for games and I just use my speaker to help hold the wire up anyways so I won't have to pull it up every few minutes. Second spending $20+ on a "gaming" mouse just seems stange to me. Ok, maybe I'm abit cheap but a mouse is a mouse. Unless they truely help then it's not worth it too me. I searched for a Logitech mouse because apperantly they are really good and found this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16826104181 Once again very cheap and the first review makes me question if the mouse will last. It does have good ratings though. MAybe it would be best if I just went to walmart and bought a mouse there so I don't have to pay shipping? BTW, Knightmare was kidding. DJDeez
I'm using a Logitech MX310 now and I must say that I like it a lot more than the MX510. I'd suggest you get a Razer though. My brother has one and it's better than any mouse I've seen so far.
Kutthroat
Dang, that's hawt. Does it come in red? Like, red LEDs. .
AZAZEL
Dang, that's hawt. Does it come in red? Like, red LEDs. Yes, yes it does. It's kind of out dated, though. This is where it's at now: Razer Copperhead. Well, generally the new 2000 dpi Laser mice. This is Logitech's competitor: I'll get one of those eventually. I can't really see the connection between playing games, but then wanting the cheapest mouse possible, more or less. So yeah, I have the exact oposite opinion of yours SmellyJelly. ~az

GTA3Freak-2001
Wireless mice are fine for gaming, that is if you get a good quality one which is what Logitech is. The update rate for current wireless mice are on par with any corded version so don't let that be a reason to not get wireless.
