Breaking the bank at the Caligula

Hi All!

 

I've got al little problem. If I'm almost finished with the mission in the Caligula casino I have to parachute to a helicopter on the next roof.

I just can't keep enough altitude to reache that roof top.

 

Of course i can finishe the mission without the helicopter but I wonder: if it really possible on the pc?

 

I know that if I push the back-key CJ's feet come up and that it will take longer to reache the ground but it make no scene.

 

I hope that some other pc users can help me how to do!

i didn`t reach the top either...well, i did when i spawned a jetpack `cause i thought i couldn`t complete the mission without getting in the heli.Nice to know that u`r not too dumb, since i didn`t complete any schools (on my own that is).

Well i have done that mission so many times and I never am able to get to the helicopter even if I open the parachute straight after jumping off. But I prefer it this way because there are a couple of trigger-happy SWATS waiting for you by the heli.

hmm...does it say in the breif that u have to get in the heli ... or on the roof? `cause u might just have to destroy it . Can`t belive rockstar wants u to jump if u CAN`T ...just a thought!

I couldn't get to it either, i found this on a walkthrough so it must be possible

 

 

Now, you're supposed to land on the roof across. If you do that, you have

    to kill SWAT members, blow up some helicopters, then steal the chopper and

    fly to Verdant Meadows, which racks up wanted levels and is really just

    unnecesary. Land away from the roof and steal a car. Drive either to the

    airport to steal a plane, or just drive to Verdant Meadows. The following

    choppers won't even bother you if you keep moving. Park in the red blip,

    and watch as you finally get to punch Zero in the mouth. The whole mission

    is worth it just for that.

landing on the roof, which is what youre instructed to do (if youre able), is WAY harder than landing on the ground....

But I don't think anybody can land on the roof. Thats what the game tells us but it is impossible to me. The guide says what is supposed to be done (land on the roof) but gives the tip to land AWAY from the roof. So I don't think it makes the game way harder.

we're splitting hairs here - ive never landed on the roof either, but evidently the person who wrote that guide has, and it seems like a major pain in the ass, is all im saying

hehe....Yeah i agree with you on that one. Still if no one had landed on the roof, then we wouldn't know what would happen after that. Though it should have been made easier if you actually do land on the roof rather than making it harder.
