Can kill people near you without killing you.

Almost as powerful as a Rocket launcher

Good for destroying vehicles

what he said, and easier to aim at heli's flying past you. With a rocket launcher I always miss.

And it looks cooler.

I think it depends whatt you are gonna do, the minigun is better, faster and easier to kill people on the ground and destroy cars in the PS2 version you dont even need to aim just hold circle pressed and move the analog around and all the cars and people are destroyed but the rocket launcher is very usefull to take out helis and can also take out cars, anyways I think I preffer the Minigun but helis can give u trouble

if you have a minigun in sa, and see a helicopter, you wont have trouble with it,, well not me
