Claudes Clothes

We all know Claude, or better known as Fido. Well in GTA3 he wore the same clothes the whole time. I have just found a picture of Toni wearing the same clothes.

 

 

Seeing as Claude got his clothes from the hideout which was Tonis old hideout. maybe Toni left them there and Claude wore them?

No.Claud had them already in gta sa.Anyway Claud had two clothes.One normal and one orange one in the first mission only.

No.Claud had them already in gta sa.Anyway Claud had two clothes.One normal and one orange one in the first mission only.

Yeah, he did have them in San Andreas, lol.

 

That's a major plot-hole. They do look very similar to Claude's clothes though .

Toni looks kinda fat in that picture compared with what he looks like in the trailer and other screenshots. maybe he does start getting fatter during the game?

I reckon its an easter egg as well, it's just R*'s way of saying "We haven't forgotten about the GTA3 fans" Its a homage to the best GTA ever i believe. I would also like to see Toni's eventual purple suit given to him at the end of the game as a present from the Don, and that suit would be the same from GTA3

It looks just like the ones Claude wore in san andreas so your wrong. If you think your wrong, get out your copy of San andreas and find the mission and watch the cutscene. Why do you think everyone else said they do look like claudes clothes?

Back on topic? This IS the topic! Those are not Claude's clothes. I've played San An plenty of time, and Fido never wore a suit. Why does everyone else say they're Fido's clothes? Have you not experienced the lack of IQ on this board like I have? Here, allow me to prove you wrong...

 

 

It has all the makings of a suit. A collar, buttons down the front. Fido never wore a collar and all his jackets are zippered. Verdict: THEY AREN'T HIS FRIGGIN' CLOTHES!

 

Next you're gonna be saying that's Big Smoke in the shot with him. "Well, he has glasses and is really fat!"

You cant say that the collar os part of the shirt because you cant see it for sure. And you cant even see buttons can you? No you cant, so stop trying to act like you know everything, so finally get it into your head that nobody knows for sure but we can just guess from the screens we have, and I guessed from this screen it was Claudes clothes because it does look like them.

 

And where did that big Smoke thing come from? I didnt say toni WAS claude because he was wearing the same clothes did I? And you are part of the reason this board has lack of iq.

Back on topic?  This IS the topic!  Those are not Claude's clothes.  I've played San An plenty of time, and Fido never wore a suit.  Why does everyone else say they're Fido's clothes?  Have you not experienced the lack of IQ on this board like I have?  Here, allow me to prove you wrong...

Now, look at the top of Claude's jacket. See how it's curled up like that? Toni's suit collar is curled down. See how shiney the leather is on Fido's jacket? Toni's suit has no shine to it, and it's not as baggy as the jacket. Toni's under shirt is V-shaped, lower than Claude's t-shirt that just fits around his neck. Finally, look at the color difference between Toni's black under shirt and his burgandy (or close to it) suit jacket. That may not be the actually color, but there is definitly a color difference if you look close enough.

 

The Big Smoke thing came from you looking at any similarity between the two outfits. Yes, they are similar, but they aren't the same. And I will continue to act like I know everything. It's not my fault that it's true.

By playing with the colour/contrast levels you can see Toni's jacket clearer.

They might be the same colours, but Toni and Claude have different styles.

Brightened up the image abit, looks more like a combat jacket to me more than a leather jacket or a suit.

 

 

Looks like he's wereing the same thing in the trailer

I love how people try to act smart by pointing out spelling errors. Congratulations, I spelled repetition wrong and you pointed it out. You're still a moron. I spelled burgundy wrong, too, you failed to notice that.

 

Thank you carpetdweller and Kuiosikle for those pics. That's definitive proof that it is not Claude's jacket.

What I find funny is that you have a pic of cluade in your sig and in the picture you are using the pants are tan and in your sig his pants are green, Its been awhile but didnt' he wear cammo pants in 3?

The pants are more greenish in GTA3, But the pants Toni are wearing are more the same colour of the pants that Claude wears in GTASA.

 

And I only said they look similar, I didnt say they were exactly the same, i said they look the same, so stop trying to tell me im wrong, because its just an opinion. and you dont know that it is true, have you got the final version of the game? No you havent. So stop saying your right. They are similar. OK I just said they werent the same so get off my back about it.

you know what guys? whether it looks like fido's clothes or not doesnt matta, cos no matta how different its suposed to be from fido's clothes or toni's clothes, all it does is that it gives us a throwback to the 1st gta game out on ps2 n gave us fido, a free roam city, cool weapons, n many ways to do a mission howvea you want.

that all there is, dont matta if toni's jacket is button down whereas fido's was zipped up. point is that toni's clothes just makes us be reminded how fido looked and how in 3 yrs from 98 that everything in liberty city will look n be different in that time.

Master, you're getting way too defensive. I'm not as hostile as you might think I am. This is a discussion board, and debates will happen. You say it's Fido's jacket, I say it's a suit, and we discuss. I was never on your back as you say, you're the one who jumped on me for saying it's a suit.

 

You're right, I don't have the final version of the game, but I'm still right as the edited pictures prove.

 

And rootman, you're right, the clothes aren't that important compared to the rest of the game. But, like I said before, this is a discussion board. A lot of what is said here doesn't matter, so should we just not talk?

Don't take it out on me I'm new to this board and one thing I've noticed is that if someone disagrees with you all the sudden they atrying to start a fight, I'm not I was pointing something out. They may be the same clothes for all I know, The pics are from different systems and the new one is from a publicity shot, they could possibly be the same when the game comes out. Only time will tell.

Sorry I had a major bloe-up with my alcoholic/pot head uncle Friday so I'm taking things a little more serious than usual. I wish I could deal with family like I deal with the people that we arrest in our county shut them in a cell and ignore them!!

And GTA Master if you are right that would be kind of cool, and even tho thats what Fido/Cluade wore in in San Andreas. We must remember that it is a game, so things will be wrong when it comes to the timeline and thats the clothes we associate with that character. Of Course I don't think the first safe-house looks like the one from 3, at least not if its the one that I saw in my PSM preview I read. But, we won't know for sure till the full game is on the shelf, right its all speculation.
