pnomaster
I downloaded a few car mods and one of them in particular has way to much reflection on the car that any light distorts the look of the car. The thing is like a very bad mirror right now. I was just wondering if there was a way to lower the "mirror" effect on the car to about the same texture as all the other cars in san andreas? Augh
The level of reflectivity can be adjusted in the body material of the .dff, yes. If you don't know how to do this, learning a bit about it might be kinda fun and edumacational too. And really, this is a far far far better idea than asking next if someone can do it for you. Not that I'm saying you're going to, but most tend to do so. Look into it if I was you, yes it can be altered...
pnomaster
Thats cool, cause i'd find it dumb to take out a perfectly good looking car just because its got a really high reflection. What program would i be able to do it with? Or am i gonna be using notepad for this? And yeah, some people are lazy but i'd rather learn how to do it myself, i mean i don't know much about modeling or modding in general, but i know the basics of installing a mod with the whole handling and vehicles thing. Not an expert but i learn as i discover...and when i cause crashes it means try again

Augh
You're looking at adjusting the properties of the body material, or other materials in the 3d mesh/.dff file. This means doing it in a 3d modeling program, Zmod2 or 3DS Max or Lightwave is the common choices. Best o luck
