Ran out of missions but only 40% game completed?

After abandoing GTA:VC at the Dildo Dodo mission ages ago I decided to pick it up today and give it another shot - woohoo, I coasted through the level and completed the studio asset.

 

Only problem is now there is nowhere to go and nothing to do and I've only compelted 40% of the game...

 

I've completed most of the missions apart from Bar Brawl and Copland (no red trigger points appearing for these at the mansion yet) ergo I haven't completed Cap The Collector or Keep Your Friends Close.... either

 

I remeber doing most of the other missions like Avery, Love Fist, the Bikers, Cubans and Haitians etc.. and asset wise I have completed:

 

Porn Studio

Boatyard

Kaufman Cabs

The Malibu

Phil Cassidy

Print Works

 

 

Any ideas people?

Oh right . Are you using the PC version? If you are posting your stats would be useful. If not then have a look at some guides around the forum

As you can see there are a few properties I don't have - which ones are required in order to finish the game?

You have done all the missions you need and now there should be a phonecall from the mansion (Lance). Walk around for a while and see if the phone rings?

I've even been on a massive jog around town to give it enough time to ring

Buy sunshine autos and do the stuff their (the garage stuff, not the races). Maby that will help.

Knife-- you really aren't giving helpful info-- are you guessing??

 

Looking at your checklist-- doing the 2 vercetti missions you did not mark "bar brawl" and "copland" will complete the vercetti estate (which some consider another asset) the mansion will generate money like the businesses-- the vercetti missions are required to continue the story-- when these are done you will get a call to get to the Printworks-- there will be a marker there to continue-- "Cap the Collector"

 

If you by chance already did the vercetti missions-- you may have not remembered the call-- check over at printworks for a pink Marker.

 

If that doesn't do it, check to make sure all 6 properties you listed are generating cash-- just to make sure you didn't reload after doing something.

 

FYI-- Jumps count for over 20% by themselves and all hidden packages count 10% (1% per 10) all other side missions/task add some too-- its quite common to finish story with only %50 done-- its possible to complete the story with 26% (I've done this).

ps You gotta do that last assasination contract-- the phone for this one is on the block behind cherry poppers-- very memorable mission (one of my favorites).

He isn't aiming for 100% and I have a feeling the copland missions are not unlocked. And I say maby because it makes me feel better just incase I am wrong

The vercetti missions ALL become available getting the mansion-- can all be done in a row right away but they are sequential-- nothing else unlocks them-- there should be a marker either inside or outside the mansion (I forget exactly where that marker is)-- it might be outside the mansion near the door.

 

The following missions are required to complete the storyline-- all else are side missions...

 

Ken-- All

Cortez-- All except "All hands on deck"

Diaz-- All

Vercetti-- All

Businesses-- Printworks and any other 5 businesses (6 total)

Final-- All (both).

 

Thats it....all other missions strings are optional in completing the story-- I did the absolute minimum in trying to see how fast I could complete the story-- finished in 3 hours 32 minutes (I did all the above and also collected 30 packages so I could get the cold python)-- I also did cone crazy (repeated it breaking my record each time to get several hundred thousand dollars so I had enough money to purchase all the businesses and plenty of weapons...

This statement will never be true. If you've completed Shakedown (and the fact that you have purchased other assets says you have), a misison trigger for Bar Brawl will appear. Meanwhile, if no mission marker appears at Vercetti Estate, you've completed at least Cop Land. So yeah, can't ever be true.

 

And yes, Knife was guessing starting with his 2nd post here.

This statement will never be true. If you've completed Shakedown (and the fact that you have purchased other assets says you have), a misison trigger for Bar Brawl will appear. Meanwhile, if no mission marker appears at Vercetti Estate, you've completed at least Cop Land. So yeah, can't ever be true.
