eduardoretardo
For some reason, I cannot do the first test in driving school. I try, but I go around so slowly that it only goes about 3 feet before the 10 seconds are up. I'm holding down the arrow and W and S just like it says, but it goes so slowly that it's impossible for me to pass. What am I doing wrong? ajkhan316`
You have to hold down both W and S and THEN press Q or E to do a donut. 10 seconds is more than enough to do a 360. Just make sure you stop at the same spot you started to get a gold. By the way, you should have posted this in Mission Help. - FiJiAn 4 LiFe
eduardoretardo
Sorry, didn't see that forum. But I just tried that, holding W and S and then pressing Q or E. Same thing, slow rotation. I can do circle burnouts on bikes, but not cars. I don't understand the problem at all, and it's getting frustrating. I read in a PS2 walkthrough to hold L3 to do it, what does that correspond to on PC?
ajkhan316`
Q corresponds to left. Is your key mapped to that? Basically it is to hold down UP and DOWN key and then press RIGHT or LEFT to turn. Try using the arrow keys and see if you can do it. - FiJiAn 4 LiFe
eduardoretardo
Got it. I had been playing around in the handling .cfg files and messed with the Infernus. I went back to my backup, and it worked fine.
Kremit
just a side note, other's have had problems with this because their keyboards will only recognize a couple of keys at a time. Mainly, user uses W and S and the system stops recognizing any further keys pressed. However, if you use the right and left arrow keys (or mouse), along with W and S, it's a piece of cake. But yea... actually being able to start the donut suggests that you are having a seperate issue... gj finding the problem.
Kiwisdofly
That one caused me a lot of problems. I use a steering wheel with pedals, you see, so I had to...*shudder* use the keyboard! I can also lift weights with my chin AND drink beer all macho-like.
