Firstly, before i begin what i have to say i have to say two things.

 

One, i do not support model theft, nor do I support conversions as a whole. I support Silver because he is a friend and one of the kindest people I know on this earth. Two, i agree with the new conversion rules and this has nothing to do to get them disbanded.

no one had told me and it wasnet stated anywhere that the New Convertions rules applied to GTAgarage, so i willingly uploaded my mods there... and constantly updated them,  i was hardly ignoring the rules, i was tring to obey them just like every other Member on the forums, the rules say right there in the topic

it wasnet stated they applied to GTAgarage... if they said your not allowed to upload/host mods on the entire GTA.net, i would of removed all my conversions immediatley from gtagarage upon the rule being created

I Decided to make my own free forum after the new rule was put in, Ashdexx even signed up, said something nice about my Unfinished scratch made models... now hes gone and banned me..

all because of a misunderstanding, typical, i bet the staff have been looking for a way to ban me ever since that rule was put into effect,

 

im problebly banned forever, and even though ive apologised publically there and told them i didnt know, and that im involved with GTA:LC and try to be a helpful member, knowing the staff, they arent going to care....

 

i know after the conversion rule was made you were pretty mad... this problebly makes it worse, im upset too... but they've said time and time again the forum isnt a democracey...... the Staff run it and they are the gods...

I dont know if you want to speak out about this or not, its up to you, ive emailed Craig kostelecky aswell... he may stand up aswell, im sure a few other members wont be to happy about this, but ive only got so many on my side... meanwhile im up against Augh, and Ashdexx, and Illspirit and a whole bunch of other 5 Karma star carrying members/staff

now with that said here is what i have to say about this.

 

Firstly, the new conversion rules do not state anywhere on them that they apply to the uploading of mods to GTAGarage. They simply state that they are the rules of GTA FORUMS. NOT GTA Garage. Now, with that said, yes GTA Garage is part of the GTA Network and because the rules exist here it would be common sence that they do exist on GTA Garage as well. HOWEVER, it is imoral and unjust to ban someone due to lack of common sence. If we banned every person who dosn't have common sence on these forums there would probably only be a couple hundered people left, if that.

 

Now with that said, becasue the rules do not state that they apply to GTA Garage, nor does it say anywhere on GTA Garage that these rules apply (and yes i have looked), therefor this banning of Silver007 is unjust and should be undone.

 

Now, I know the moderator elites of the forums will first turn me down most likely, however, you have gone too far lately. Topic being closed that shouldn't of been. Trying to kick out anyone on the forums by making new rules to stop them from being here just because you dont like them. Sometimes it sickens me and i personally belive that almost all the moderaters should be striped from their titles and just the admins run everything because they're the only people without a biased opinion.

 

Granted, some mods like GTAFreak are great people, they follow the rules 100% and dont use their own opinions to do their job. There are others as well such as Tsuroki and RD just to name a couple.

 

But this is just wrong now. First you ban conversions because you dont like them. Now you try to ban one of the nicest people on GTAF just because he Isn't a good modeler and rather do what he does?

 

This banning is unjust. The rules did not clearly state that it was not allowed on GTA Garage, and though common sence would think so, you cannot ban someone for not having common sence.

 

With this now said i move for a motion to unban Silver007. HOWEVER, Let the conversion rules be made more clearly and if no conversion is allowed on GTA Garage, make it clear that the rules of GTA Garage follow the same rules as GTA Forums.

 

If you will not unban Silver007 and give him a clean slate and remove this unjust warning, i will try to make another deal to work with this, but i can promise you this, i will not stop fighting for him until he is unbanned. Silver is the nicest person i know in RL or on the forums and he's been my friend for almost 2 years now and as his friend it is my duty to protect him and this is what i'm doing.

i honestly dont care what goes on GTAGarage or the rules here, the point of this topic is to unban Silver and that is all. the rest is up to the admins what they want to do.

Silver uploaded them because he was not aware that the rules also covered GTA Garage as well. since the new rules were made he hasn't posted a topic about any of his mods here because he knew it was against the rules w/o the original authors posting, ect.

That last comment goes for most of your post. I suggest rewriting some points, and coming up with better workarounds. I'm sure everyone was well aware backlash such as this would come from you, so I don't see how you think any actions taken can be proven unjust.

Alright, if you can, try come up with some reasons for why he should be allowed on the forum, rather than reasons why his banning was unjust. ie. What he'll contribute. I guess that's just partially because I'm interested in what you'll come up with, looking for a laugh, or maybe I'm bored of seeing failed unban topics and I want to see one that works. One of those, not really sure. Either way, I'm interested in why he'd be valuable.

 

The thing about GTAGarage is that it's not like GTAForums, it's actually harder to police. There's often not enough information or reports for us to check whether or not conversions have permission there, because of the whole way that the system works. The chances of people reporting stolen mods/conversions without permission are essentially non-existant, and a lot of the time mods are submitted without correct information and there's no way we can know properly whether or not it's worth even approving. So whether it's already documented in the rules or not, I'd be in favour of not having conversions on GTAGarage, but it's hard to enforce - when it can be enforced (like in this case), it's nice to see something was done about it.

 

As you said though, you're not interested in adjusting the rules on GTAGarage of making things clearer for people - you only care about the unban, so I doubt you'll get far with this topic. It's not upto me anyway.

Good going there, congratulations on making this topic into something that will turn to insults and flames. May I remind you that here in the language of english, we like to seperate our fullstops/periods and the following word with a space.

 

Ashclown is original though, it's original in the respect that everyone else who's gone out of their way to insult him has had an IQ high enough to come up with something a little more thoughtful or at least funny. Yeah, but he's been banned for like... a day.

 

All those people were banned for months before they were even thought of being let back. Think of it as an "extended temp ban" for now. Another thing worth mentioning is that they were both eventually perma-banned again anyway... just like everyone else who's been let back. A few of them come back reformed, many of them do not. Is this guy that noone's heard of worth the headache?

let me get something straight here.

 

Silver007 did not break any rules because it was not clearly stated that he was not allowed to upload his mods to GTA Garage, therefor he should be unbanned assuming he follows the rules.

 

Now, i'm willing to work out a settlement here and i'm sure that we can reach that.

 

honestly i dont give a f*ck what happens to the rules of conversions, this isn't about the new rules or anything like that,

 

this is simply about unbanning someone who was caught victim of the rules not being clear enough.
