Getting wasted/busted glitch?

Even when I restarted a new game, I always get to keep my weapons when I get wasted/busted. The only thing I can remember doing first was raising a lot of money, buying/saving in a different safehouse before starting the very first mission Big Smoke.

Already posted somewhere, it's when you date girlfriends which give you these bonuses. Katie i think for wasted, forgot the other.

Well this happens even before I meet anybody else. It's a new game and I haven't even met Big smoke or any of the homie, much more the gfs. It's good though but it just makes me wonder somehow.

If you meet the gfs ever before, you'll get the bonus even if you start a new game.

Hmm...even with a new memory card? (I'm using PS2 btw)

Did you use a memory card? It's happened to me, and I'd rather it didn't. I think it happens if you start a new game while playing your 'girlfriendy game.'

take out your memory card and then start a new game and put your card back in AFTER your new game has started

Its when you are in a game that you have dated the 2 girlfriends that give you those benefits. If you want to avoid this you must take out your memory card with the power off, turn on the game and let it start a new game on its own and then put it back in. Its a well known glitch and its actually pretty cool. You can save hours and not date those girlfriends.
