Windows Explorer Problems

Recommended Posts

I run a Windows XP and there's a problem when I startup.

Everything goes normal: The welcome screen appears, and the desktops appears, but there are no icons, no bar, no start button, nothing. I thought this was a problem with Explorer so I used Ctrl+Alt+Del and clicked "Run New Task." I typed in Explorer and it runs for a second, then dissapears. The only way I can use programs is by starting new tasks.

Any help?

Try starting in Safe Mode and see what happens. [yes I'm going to say it]

While you're go ahead and take the time to run Ad-Aware, Spybot and your virus scanner. Even if they don't turn anything up, they can't hurt anything.
