EDIT: Just checked IMDB. Dalpura was right they are in season 4. Yet they've been around for 6 years. They only have 4 season in 6 years because Cartoon Network's Adult Swim played re-runs for a long time. It developed a huge amount of fans their so they brought it back. Wolfwood Posted September 13, 2005 Share Posted September 13, 2005 I know that it still still int he making, but the creator has now also got a new project, another cartoon in the same style and humor of Family Guy called American Dad, on a special Family Guy DVD, there is the pilot and it's quite funny, it's worth a look. Being in the UK, you really wouldn't know what's up with Family Guy though without the internet, it has not been shown for over 2 years really. One radical thing I noted, was American Dad, has gotten about 10x funnier. I swear, I first watched AD and thought it was a pile of wasted crap. Then when comparing Sunday's AD with Sunday's FG.. Family Guy is one of the funniest shows out there, and there's no way it's going to simpson-ize, because Family Guy will probably end top dog than fade away. And family guy is still in it's prime. (by the way, why did fox cancel family guy a few years ago, yet still have not put to death the hardly beating heart which is the simpsons? I don't think it's getting worse, well maybe a little tiny bit, but not enough to even say it. I mean, "Regan smash!" was hillarious. American Dad and new Simpsons suck though, that's for sure. Like the episode where peter saves the bartender and at the end it has the award ceremony like in Star Wars. But come on guys, one slightly less funny episode and it's declining? If the next episode is worse then I'd be scared. @Woody, I completely agree. American Dad is identical to Family Guy. Except it has a fish insted of stewie, and an alien insted of Brian.
