Breaking the bank at Caligula's

Hi,

I am having trouble with the "Breaking the bank at Caligula's" mission. I manage to get as far as the roof and easily dispatch the police that land on the roof from the helicopter. The problem is that when I get to the parachute I am unable to pick it up. I have done the flying lessons and have parachuted in the past. I have also made sure that the only items I carry cannot interfere with me collecting the parachute. The only items I carry are armor, silence pistol, ak47, combat rifle, smg, night vision goggles and dagger. Is there possibly an item I am carrying is stopping me picking up the parachute and what key (I use a PC) do I press to drop an item?

I thought parachute was the only "weapon" of its kind and CJ picks it up straight away. Anyway, if you cant do that then press tab while standing over the parachute to pick it up. I think it is the night-vision goggles that is preventing you from picking it up. I may be wrong.

Have you tried getting near and just hitting the Tab key to see what happens?

 

 

Yes it is the night-vision goggles causing it.

how about if your not on pc, i can't hit tab, any suggestions? (xbox user)

Go to the controller setup and then foot controls

Almost at the bottom there's a control called "action". In my PC version i have to hit tab, so you have to hit the key that stands there in your xbox version.

On the xbox, the Left Trigger should do it.
