Mike_Toreno
Hello all, I was practicing making some box art for the GTA: Glasgow mod, So tell me what you think, I did it from scratch, Blurred the images to make them look 'in - game' etc etc and it was my first one ever, Here it is
Canoxa
Take them filters away from me! Really, lay off the filters, they look horrible. A border. A copied PC CDROM symbol. A GTA symbol. Some boring font saying Glasgow. A Rockstar symbol. Bad division. That's nothing more than that! Keep trying.
Mike_Toreno
I used filters because I did not want to make it look like a real life GTA, I thought it looked good..... obviousely not and anyway, i did that font with pricedown, i cropped te images, it took me a while and you get sarky?? Enano
I'd make the black borders between images thicker, and those filters look weird, try only 'cutout', and maybe a bit of 'sharpen' and a slight increase of contrast, just to make the colors more different of each others. Also, try playing with the images before applying the filters, like removing the background of the bike and putting only one or two colors, you don't really need a whole gamma of colors if you can't even see what the background is. The fonts are good IMO, add an ESRP tag to make it look like a real box. For your first one is very good.

51L3N7 4554551N
Ever heard of vectoring? Vectoring? no, why? He wasn't being sarcy, he was telling the truth. Anyway, definately take the filters out, keep it plain, we're trying to keep it as GTA like as possible. It looks really good for your first go though, take the filters out and post it in GTAG

Night Eyes
Good for a first try. The filters dont look good as others mentioned, but I Think most of all that the filters dont look good with each other, for example the cross hatched Bus doesent look so good with the blurred bike. Good job, keep trying! You can only get better, unless you get worse, then you wont get better. Edited September 14, 2005 by Night Eyes
Pierce Brosnan
Not bad, not bad, but for advertising a GTA game (even if it's not real) you might want an interesting font for the title (name of the city that is). Good luck on any future box art.
