I just built this computer on my own, I've built many in the past and haven't had this problem and have never seen this problem before on any system...

Anytime I start to burn a DVD, anywhere betweem 1 - 5 minutes later my computer will reboot on it's own, same thing if I play a DVD movie...

I pulled this from EVENT VIEWER in administrative tools... any help is greatly apreciated!

I know I'm going to get sh*t for this, but I really don't care.

I have to ask my standard question. Have you check for viruses and spyware? Throw in a ScanDisk and DiskDrafg while you're at it.

If it was just the DVD burner, then I would say it's a hardware issue, but it sounds like a software.

Just for fun; shut down and disconnect the DVD burner then start up and check the problem with thumbnails again.
