Dakin
DA Link And what can I tell you my brother, my killer What can I possibly say? I guess that I miss you, I guess I forgive you I'm glad you stood in my way If you ever come by here, for Jane or for me Well, your enemy is sleeping, and his woman is free Listening to Leonard Cohen. Abstraction based around clipped National Geographic and other landscape photography plus some digital paint/scribble work to turn the shapes into more (sloppy) 3D forms. Background is a recreation of an optical illusion I saw in a book, but it lost it's illusionary quality when the contrast and colour was changed (needs to be flat black/white). 2G | My DA
SilentM
I. Love. It. Don't really see how the poem goes with it. It looks a bit sloppy in places, but I can kind of see you went for that effect. Haven't seen you around for a while Dakin, which sucks because you've always damn rocked with pieces like these. Dakin
The song lyric doesn't have anything to do with it, just what was playing at the time when I was uploading, and I really like that chorus in the song. 2G | My DA
Canoxa
I just love the layout of this piece! This should teach the youngsters what to post in the GFX section.

Oh, okay. I just noticed the bright yellowish circles near the top of the shape, those aren't too good looking. EDIT: Do you use a tablet? I've been looking to get one, and any tips etc. would help. Reincarnated
Looks good. Infinity times better than the average abstract/fratual topic. I would be careful on those yellow lines outling some of the parts (like on the main blue thing, it kinda screws it up a bit, if you don't place it carefully). Other than that looks good. I also like those red box/triangle things. Good background pattern choice. Nice shape on the blue, uh, shape. Also, one of the first things I noticed was that 'alf-like'/bird object which looks good. Phalanxe
Really good use of color, but I'm not so sure about composition. All of the focus is directly in the lower right corner, with a large mass of negative space off to the left. It just seems out of balance, and having the object directly in the corner isn't such a good thing either. Otherwise, looks good, as usual. king surfer
f*cking brilliant. I love it. I really like all of the scribbles and sh*t but the only criticsm is the slight reddish glow. It spoils the piece for me.
Night Eyes
Thats top sh*t! I love it, well done! I agree with King Surfer, the only thing I dont like is the Red Glow. Almost looks like a Seahorse thing.
