gta_player5 172
who saw that fight between Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter last night during the Nets @ Lakers? I dont know what it was over... im guessing a bad call or a foul but it looked pretty intenese and im glad it was broken up before it could escalade into anything more then a heated argument. o and the Lakers lost and Kobe scored 46...how would you feel if your team was that bad, when you score 46 and your team still loses? station 0
Damn, I wish one or the other would've swung a punch. There needs to be more fights in sports besides hockey. No but seriously..that just tells you how sh*tty the players that are around Kobe are. They had high hopes for Odom, but he hasn't done a damn thing.
phreakatms 1
I hope they don't stay there long, because they play way better in there own stadium. Than playing a """HOME GAME"'" in a different stadium. Its more like a road game to me but that is just my opinon. Nah, this place will be sold out. Tickets only 10 dollars, so I could buy all of the home game tickets for about 200 dollars. It's great though, Oklahoma finally has a Pro team, and I think it will boom. J.R. Smith is the future. I hope the Hornets do stay in OKC. Oklahoma needs it more than NO right now. Get this, they're outselling tickets by several thousand over New Orleans. I can assure you this team will stay in OKC for the 2006 season. After that, and if ticket sales hold up (as well as their record), we can hope and pray. I grew up a Suns fan myself, because in Oklahoma, we didn't ever have any pro teams (and I hate Texas teams). This can be changed for future generations. Hell, if the Saints in the NFL are thinking about relocating, maybe the Buzz can too. If that happened in the coming years, maybe NO would get their teams back after they completely rebuild and rehabit the area. I know New Orleans lost the Jazz, but that was because the team wasn't supported there. The team is obviously getting much fan support in OKC, and I'm sure they'll be happy to stay if needed. TheRiverBelow 0
What do you guys think of the Raptors to come? This season they will probably do horribly despite their amazing start of 4 wins and 17 losses, but in a few years I think they will be a strong team. -Peace-
Cuse510 0
What do you guys think of the Raptors to come? This season they will probably do horribly despite their amazing start of 4 wins and 17 losses, but in a few years I think they will be a strong team. -Peace- I think it all depends on if they can persuade Chris Bosh to stay in Canada. If he sticks around, I think the raptors can be very good in a couple years. I think, for example, Villanueva and Calderon are two players who would greatly benefit from more experience. However, if he leaves (apparently he wants to play in a big market) I think they will continue to struggle.

D Jones 0
'Bron tore up the Nuggets. I wish the Hornets would stay in Oklahoma. I've been to several of there games, and Chris Paul is going to be a superstar. He is a great player and all of the Hornets are underrated. Chris Paul to Desmond Mason is a good highlight to watch. gta_player5 172
Last night Kobe Bryant scored 62 points in 33 minutes, he did not play any of the 4th quarter. At the end of the 3rd he had 62 points and the Maverics had 61 points. No other Laker player had double digit points, Chris Mihm was the closest with 9 Points. The craziest thing about this is that Kobe tried to spread the ball around, but as we know the Lakers have no good role players so Bryant did it all himself setting a career high in points. pacman11 0
What happened to this NBA disscussion everyones not posting!! Anyway What do you think about the Pistons?
D Jones 0
Pistons are awesome. But I seen when Shaq was just killin' them in the post, I thought Ben Wallace could contain him since Shaq just got out of an injury.
gta_player5 172
Pistons will win in between 65-70 games, I don't see them breaking the Bulls record of 72-10. I just don't see their stellar offensive play keeping up for that long. But yes, they are awesome

TheRiverBelow 0
Toronto Raptors vs. New Jersey Nets: 7.2 seconds left on the clock, Calderon (a Raptor) was at the line and the Raptors we're winning 103-102. He makes the first free throw. 104-102. Calderon misses the second. Kidd gets the rebound quickly advances up the court, penetrates, passes out to Carter. He shoots a 3 for the win and it's good. There is 0.1 seconds left on the clock. Jalen Rose, if I remember right, was inbounding the ball at the front court. He lobs it up for Bosh and... it's no good. Nets win 105-104. BTW I' a Raptors fan so I'm sad. It was a crazy game. Mike James gets teched, Morris Peterson gets ejected in the first half, Sam Mitchell gets T'd as well. -Peace- Edited January 9, 2006 by TheRiverBelow

gta_player5 172
Tonight at the Orlando Magic @ Seattle Supersonics game, Magic gaurd Keyon Dooling was elbowed by Sonics gaurd Ray Allen, Dooling then tackled Allen. And the two started to fight on the scores table. The fight was broken up by players from both teams and referees. Allen and Dooling were both ejected from the game, and after the 2 were seperated and ejected, Dooling then tried to run after Allen into the Supersonics' locker room. He did not make it how ever. Punishments are yet to be announced if any ar given out. I would expect there to be for this fight.
