GTA3Freak-2001
Well compare the specs needed to run the game via Rockstar's website and you'll see that your PC fits into what is needed. So yeah that PC should be fine for the game.
ed209
I'm not sure if the graphics will let you run with nice details...
GTA3Freak-2001
Oh it depends, I am not sure what model that card is given that its a special laptop version. Is the laptop any particular model or make like Dell, Alienware etc.?
The Fawker
yea id say that you would be fine to run SA on that laptop
RogerDune
I run SA on my laptop with no problems. The graphics are sweet, my ps2 mates are very jealous I have a Dell 6000, similar specs to what you have but only a 64mb ATI graphics card. Sometimes it is a bit slow if I am running it on battery but most of the time it is fine.
Simon.
I have similar specs to that on my PC. My PC can run it at 1280x1024 resolution, AA set to one, texture detail low-medium and draw distance full. I'd say you'd be able to run it at similar settings with your resolution. The main difference between the mine and yours is that I have a 6200 GeForce 128MB graphics card whereas you have a ATI RADEON® XPRESS 128MB. If you have any problems just download this this program allows me to lower the screen resolution and to make it 800x600 pixels with the settings at the highest level . NOTE: Even if you put the graphics at a low level they are still better than PS2 by far. But you shouldn't need too, your PC is fit to run San Andreas IMO. Good Luck! noVa
it runs fine on my laptop, 1.7ghz Centrino, 512mb DDR2, Radeon X700 128mb, 15.4" 1680x1050 so u will probably be able to run it.
Cran.
it runs fine on my laptop, 1.7ghz Centrino, 512mb DDR2, Radeon X700 128mb, 15.4" 1680x1050 so u will probably be able to run it. Posting your specs has nothing to do with it No one cares about your 'pimp' specs anyway. Back on topic, that IGP is basicly a dumbed down mobile X300, so it should be able to play it with ease. Don't expect mircles though, I've never used one of those and sometimes IGP's can be pretty crappy. I wouldn't get that laptop if you want to game, get something with dedicated graphics, like a laptop with a ATi Mobilty Radeon X300. That should be able to play SanAn pretty well
