If you had searched then you would have found ways. You can clean it by getting it in the rain or going to a pay n spray. This only works on PS2, on PC you need a patch

original gangster

How do i get rid of dirty cars?

thxs

you need the 1.01 patch if you're on PC. on ps2 it works fine. clean it by taking it to a pay 'n' spray, transfender or a garage.

EDIT:damn, beaten by silent.

Early press mentioned dirt and rust getting worse while owning said car, and that car washes might work, I've never witnessed that, or the above rain cleaning anything... some are dirty, some arent... It's GTA, grab another and go, no need to worry about any of that to be honest

I don't think Pay n Sprays do work. I think it's only a new paint job from Transfender that cleans it.

I don't think that as days go by the car gets dirtier either. A car only gets dirtier when driven through dirt, grass, or sand...

i'd say a good way to get rid of a dirty car is to drive it off a cliff, bail out before going off, run out on the highway and grab another one!

Me?

Inside vehicle.txd is a file called vehiclegrunge256.bmp...I just extracted it, repainted it all white and reinserted it...The file was originally mostly white with grey streaks and mottles in it (hence the "dirt")...Appears that the white is transparent allowing the normal car colors to show through...

Ta Da!

Perfectly spotless cars AND I get to keep the Hot Coffee!

P.S. Try painting it different colors, art nouveau, paisley, tie-dyed, etc...Some of the effects I got were stunning or hilarious)

also when u put the patch on you only will notice clean cars if your runing the display detail on medium/high/very high

run it on low and the cars will always be dirty even with the patch on
