Jaltsi Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 (edited) Well, sometimes my GTA: SA crashes with odd error message; Something about going over limit of graphic accelerator.. So my ATI Catalyst wipes graphic card memory and sometimes it then doesnt crash but many times whole computer re-starts.. im running with ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. OS is XP without any service packs EDIT: Yeah its that VPU Recover that whipes accelerator.. Well, any idea how to fix it? Antropophagus Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 I had the same thing with my 2nd computer that has ATI 9600 XT. I got it fixed with optimized drivers3dGURU Hope it works, I use NGO drivers for all of my 3 computers. Also, check what type is your PSU. If You have less than 350W that might be a problem. VPU recover problem is quite hard to solve cause there are many reasons that may cause Your 9600 to reboot or hang the system. It may be in BIOS settings also, Overclocking etc?
