Opius
Have you ever seen how blood looks on denim or cotton? It's WAY too vibrant. You should barely be able to see any red on the jeans, just a dark stain. As for the shirt, it looks like he's been attacked by a lawn mower. Concentrate on a single wound, and again, darken and desaturate the blood. Might want to actually damage the clothing around the wound, unless bullets and knives can go through fabric without damaging it.

Augh
Check these out for some ideas... Here's some blood that's soaked into a sheet and dried out. This is a lot browner and lighter than you'd want due to the drying, but it shows the soak effect; Here's some that's hit a surface with some force, and splattered rather than soaked. This is really really bright and red, and only totally fresh arterial blood on a near white hard surface would come out like this really; But you can see how photo reference (or in this case photo, and leet painter dude) can really help as a visual aid to making things more effective. Like Opius said, try and concentrate on how the blood and gore would be spread around, or not spread around as might be the case. This guy got a great effect, but I would never recommend his approach, at least not on this forum anyway; http://boards.polycount.net/showflat.php?C...=0&page=0#67481 ...I told you I didn't recommend the method
GTA_Gangsta'
so you think is should make like holes in the shirt and show some skin with blood or bullet holes or somthing. when i made it i just made it like he killed a bunch of people and got bloody everywhere but if i put holes and other stuff it would look cooler. thanks for the help
