Neo-K 182
well i went and downloaded this program and i figured that it would have spyware in it and i was right, and as soon as it downloaded Panda erased the spyware, then the file i downloaded ended up being 0 bites, and now it wont let me erase it because acording to it it's being used by another program, but i went and turned off everything and ended every process and it still wouldn't let me erase it. it wont let me do anything to the program but let it stay there, i know it's not doing anything, but i want it off my desktop. so are there any programs out there that will erase this? or just anything i can do? Also, i tried to download it again, but then it said that it couldn't find a file in the temp internet files. probably the stuff Panda erased. Waste
Ok, first try restarting and then attempt to delete it again, if that doesn't work start in safe mode and try to delete it.

EmSixTeen
Try booting into Safe Mode again, and going to Start > Run > cmd > Type in 'del C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Desktop\filename.exe' (but change the filename accordingly, of course). Then come back and tell whether it worked or not. Edited September 9, 2005 by EmSixTeen
Neo-K 182
tried that. says it's not a valid win32 application. it's 0 bites so theres nothing in it. and yea i tried that in both safe and regular modes.
