cptpeg
I have noticed a mistake in Rockstars timeline. Liberty City Stories is set before GTAIII, and San Andreas is set before both of them. Now in GTAIII you had Sex Club 7, which in Liberty City Stories has been replaced by Paulie's Revue Bar. Now you would think that in San Andreas, being set before the both of them, it would be Paulie's Revue Bar, but I watched the Introduction DVD released with the GTA SA soundtrack and it shows CJ trying to steal a car from outside Sex Club 7. R* probably forgot that they had used this scene in the DVD!
CarpetDweller
Yeah, that was mentioned here. I'm interested to see if R* try to cover it up or just leave it as an inconsistency.
Pyrrhus
GTA: Liberty City Stories wasn't in development when The Introduction would have been made so I doubt that Rockstar knew at the time that they were going to turn Sex Club 7 into Paulie's Revue Bar for the 1998 time period of Liberty City Stories. I think that in 1992 the club would have also been Paulie's Revue Bar. Maybe in one of Liberty City Stories' missions you will have to kill J.D. O'Toole (the owner of the club) and Luigi Goterelli becomes it's new owner, changing it into Sex Club 7.

Yeah it's just a mistake, I think we can let them off with 1 mistake.
Kippers
But it IS a pretty big 1 mistake though....It's gunna be a big-ish feature on LCS so it's obvious. I trust rockstar to come up with something, or they'll just go into hiding when they start getting e-mails...Which makes me wonder. Has anyone tried e-mailing rockstar and asking them if they even realize they've made this mistake? 習うより慣れろ
Xanarki
Maybe Luigi did own the bar, but sold it to JD? And then, in LCS, Luigi wants it back?
PresidentKiller
Unless there's a logical explanation, I think there are a couple of mistakes. - Luigi's club - Chatterbox FM and Love Media. According to the Liberty Tree, Donald Love arrived to Liberty in 2001 and Chatterbox was a new station.

It's not really, it obviously shows that when they made the "introduction" and SA they didn't have LCS in mind to create.
rootmanback
gta lcs was in development for 2 yrs while the psp was in development all that time. oh yeh found out rockstar arnt using the renderware engine no more as they are now using their own in-engine 2 recreate all of liberty city meaning no more pop ups or having cars disappear after turning n running around ingame. Spidey.
Or how about it was Sex Club 7 in 1992 (original name of the club) when Carl was in Liberty but it wasn't owned by Luigi, but someone else. Then JD renamed it after he bought it. Then later after the Mafia takes it over. Luigi, the good buisnessman that he is changes the name back to Sex Club 7, to take a nod to the good ole days to bring more people in.
Canoxa
Good idea. They only refer to it as Luigi's when he takes over. makes sence.
Rob.
Ye that is a good idea, i mean anything is possible maybe owned it in 1992 and then sold it or gave it to JD O'Toole becuase luigi needed money and then took it back off his hands, although this would be completely stupid of course Though i think with something so big as GTA and all the timeline and mythology thy have created around it i believe they can make one little mistake I mean what they have acheived i doubt will ever be surpassed
Kanney
LCS has been (Rockstar said) worked on for the past two years. Im guessing early in development, the story was written, and the Luigis seen in "The Introduction" is just a slip up, and will not be rectified. My opinion on it is they shud leave it as a mistake, because people who are not huge fans of the games like us forumers will not have noticed it, and most probably havent even seen the intro dvd.
