racing suit

I've recently made it to 100% with michelle and got the racing suit. but I've noticed somthing strange about it. please look below:

 

 

As you can see, CJ seems to be missing some texture around his waist. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game in order to fix it but no luck. Does anyone know why this is so? Do you think any of my clothing files got corrupted or something?

Well...you're right. It doesn't really matter and I'm just being picky but I like things the way they're supposed to be so...

Anyway, here's a pic from a different angle. You can still notice a considerable "hollowness" around the waist.

I just got the same problem. Never noticed CJ looking like that, during my earlier playthroughs.

It somewhat kills the mood. I tried changing the resolutions, deleting set file, and finally reinstaling the game, to no avail.

Is there any way to fix it? Or is it normal, and I only just noticed it, because I just have bought a large monitor?

Which Version did you buy the V1, V2, or V3?

Are you playing with the DVD in the Drive?

Have you dodified the Game in any way?

PC, v.1.0, yes DVD in the drive.

You mean modified? No, no mods. Neither I was using any cheats. I did, however, acqired Racing Suit before the first mission, thanks to Orion_SR's oyster glitch. I refuse to belive that it could cause missing part of suit's texture, though.

Are you serious?

Tmotu's last post on this forum dates as far as 2005. I am sure he would not mind.

And you, of all people, living, breathing search engine, are suggesting that I should create new topic, instead of using search function?

By Golly! I didn't notice the Dates. Shame on me...

Trouble Shooting is normally different from other topics regarding search, as computers rarely have the same hardware and configs. So it is always better to start your own topic. The Search in this case is find a previouly Fixed situation method, not to post 'new' problems in 'old' topics.

 

Since, as you pointed out this is a years old dead topic, we'll let it continue with your problem.

I don't see how. The glitch consist of failing several dates, till the girfriend is about to dump you, then collecting all the oysters. That boosts your relationship with her up to 45%. How that would corrupt the texture?

 

Anyway, what I'd like to know first is, does Racing Suit, on other machines, looks like that too, or me only is being that "happy". I could overlook this during my earlier playthroughs, after all.
