Demarest's Time Vault, look for his thread in Gameplay.

Or, post your saved game in the Save and Play topic and wait for someone to complete it for you.

PS: You still have to do one Avery mission after Demolition Man.

Link to Time Vault thread in the cheats/tricks section (pinned).

This will only work if you play the PC version-- please read the directions carefully. The most important thing-- back up your main.scm file

devil.gif HEY FRIENDS! I STUCK IN DEMOLITION MAN MISSION.........!!!!!!!

EXCEPT THIS MISSION I HAVE PASSED ALL THE MISSION............ ONLY THIS MISSION IS LEFT....................

Well once you pass Demolition Man, you will also need to pass Two Bit Hit. The gang jobs are not available until you do, so you have 9 more missions to do. Unless you're in Germany in which case you have 8 more missions to do.

As stated, Time Vault will easily bypass Demolition Man for you. If you have any questions, please ask but be sure to read the instructions carefully first as Spuds said.

rampage_ani.gif dear friend, i need your urgent help........

let me explain my problem in details..... as i am a bit confused with your replies.......... as i am completely new to forums.......

as you know that i stuck in demolition man mission. this is really very very hard..........

my overall mission complete % is 23%.now on the map/radar, there are only 2 marks viz. 'D' ('Demolitiuon Man' Mission) and 'V' (from where we collect revenue)

plz note: only V & D are marked on the map/radar (besides other general marks like that of paint and spray.ammu-nation etc). the last mission that i passes was most probably the mission in which we have to constantly drive the car unless the bomb is defused.

now, my question and problem:

is there anyway to completely skip this mission?

now, if there is anyway to skip this mission..... and since only 2 marks viz. V & D are present........ if i skip this mission than the next mission will gets automatically gets activated or simply i have to roam here and there with the V mark on my map/radar..........

friends, a detailed reply will benefit me........ i again mention that i am new to forum......... kindly help...... rampage_ani.gif

The "D" is likely an "A" (thats an Avery Carrington Mission).

Demarest's timevault mod allows you to skip any mission (it will pass if for you)...but you have to download it and swap some files around (I'm assuming you are on PC)...

Link is in my post above

here is the basic instructions for "time vault"-- follow dems instructions though...not these (this is the abridged version from my memory)

+Download and unzip it.

+Find your main.scm file--- copy or move this file to a safe place (anywhere else except the folder it is currently in).

+Move Dems modded main.scm file to the folder wher your main.scm file is located.

+Start up VC

+Load up your saved game.

+Go to the mission marker and enter--you will get teleported a short distance (so you don't automatically start the following mission and you will get the mission passed message (note any mission you start now will be passed automatically).

+save your game

+ exit VC

+ go back and move your main.scm file you moved in step 2 above back to its proper location.

+start up VC

+load your saved game

+ continue as you were before-- you will have to pass each mission normally now.

By skip, do you mean avoid? Time Vault will skip it for you. However, the misison is not required unless you plan on getting 100%. If you DO plan on getting 100%, not only is Demolition Man needed, but it paves the way for 7-8 more missions.

If apart from that, the only marker left is the V indicating your save spot and revenue spot but no missions, then you must've missed the cutscene at the end of Shakedown as well as Avery's phone call. You need to purchase other properties and develop them before the final two story missions are unlocked. More specifically, you'll need to complete the Print Works asset and 5 other assets (Phil's place doesn't count). For pics of where the assets are located, click here.

Since you say you're new: Welcome to the boards. Invariably your next questions might be HOW to complete certain assets. Well for that, my advice (and this addresses many issues) is to use the Search feature of the boards. You'll find a lot of the same questions being answered repeatedly, so your answer might be a few clicks away. I didn't have the above link memorized, but I was able to locate it in about 5 seconds smile.gif Of course any other questions, feel free to ask.

I'm from the United States-- technically we are United Statesians (not Amercans since there is not country named "America")---but I digress...

I still don't think you can have a D on your map-- D is for Diaz (located at the mansion)-- you have to kill him to get the mansion and then the icon at the mansion will be V for vercetti missions.

A is for Avery and that should be the icon for you to do demolition man.

Either way-- completing "Demolition Man" is not required to complete the story missions but it is required for 100% and as Demarest said, it will open up several more missions.

Purchasing businesses does unlock more missions-- 4 of the businesses have actual missions (where you enter a pink marker to start) 13 total missions-- completing all the missions for a business will make it start earning money.... the other 4 businesses you can purchase have you complete tasks associated with the asset in order to get it to produce money--

For instance, Sunshine Autos has you steal cars from a list on the wall behind the showroom. The strip club has you pay for a lap dance in order to get it to make money....

Completing the Malibu club will unlock 2 more missions.

If you cannot understand Demarests instructions in using his TimeVault Mod, then I suggest you try and post on the Internet and then post a link to it in the Save N Play thread located here.

If because of the language barrier or some other reason can't figure out how to upload your file somewhere, go ahead and request in that thread if anyone will do "Demolition man" via email and post your email address. I am one of the VC forum leaders and I will make an exception to the rules of Save N play this time....

There's tons of mods. Using GTAGarage to locate them is a decent start. Or google. As for patches, there's only one official one. However, I've made a coupld fixes you could call patches (thought they don't touch your EXE). Likewise, I've made and continue to make several Code Tools that can modify your save game in this way or that. There's a pinned topic here and in the cheats forum for more information. Check back soon as Uniquecall should be ready tonight (I'm hoping sad.gif).

The theology behind to cheat or not is irrelevant. Since early Nintendo, game makers have found that sewing cheats into a game gives it more overall appeal, replayability, etc. Speaking as a developer, I know I found certain cheats to be rather indispensable when testing and such. Again, beyong the scope of this thread as well as these boards.
