Eight-Ball's Bomb Shop

Has anyone ever used the bomb shop in Vice Port to complete a mission? I'm puzzled as to why it was added, as no missions call for it. In the first mission for Lovefist, I suppose you could arm a car, park it up the road from the place where you begin to chase the psycho, and then detonate the bomb when the psycho is passing it, causing his own car to catch fire -- but other than that (and the car could always vanish before the psycho takes off), I can't really think of any missions in which it would be the best way to take care of business.

Ideas?

Theres always the Kaufmann Cab missions. The Last mission in the docks right outside 8-balls since the enemy cabs ram u so you go to 8-balls and arm the bomb and run out but all the other cabs keeps ramming your abandoned taxi. So detonate, then BOOM, mission complete.

Otherwise you can use it for fun!!! devil.gif

There are probably many possibilities for the Bomb shop, but it's really out of the way. It's too far from where you would normally go (at least I don't go around Vice Port much).

Alot of areas in vice city was wasted i.e the beach, Viceport, international airport and the little Haite and Havana. i mean, they are just there you can do much with them. I guess when rahkstar2.gif made Vice City they were blown away at the size of the city and had done little to ulitize all the area's potential. Like 8-balls place they could have reused some of GTA3 mission concept like pick this car up plant the bomb to kill this person as he gets into his car.

It didn't have much use in SA, either. I guess it's just meant for the player to have a little sadistic, Mafioso fun.

I think they just put it inthere because the bombshops have always been a part of GTA. I think they were even called 8-ball's back then as well in GTA1 smile.gif Correct me if I'm wrong.

I miss the row of Hare Krishna's walking down the street, and if you rammed them all you'd get a bonus lol.gif That was awsome! Unfortunately they discarted that gag once GTA went three-dimentional. But 8-ball's has remained

Who knows maybe one day Rockstar will the PSP route and release Vice City Stories or something maybe and we'll help the city live up to it's potential.
