I was hoping they'd have finished Halo 3 by the time they assembled their bundles, it'd seriously boost their sales. I'm not denying that Perfect Dark is fun as hell, but it's way too underrated to expect any outstanding sales.

I don't quite follow all this to be honest. I can't actually find any decent information, can I just buy the console and just buy PDZ? It's all I want. Or do you have to get a bundle? Though if I had the money I'd be getting that Omega bundle, looks exciting.

this is their way of curbing the demand so they don't run out prematurely. only sell them to people who can afford them, and make a little money in the process smile.gif

the basic package that is $700 only has $670 worth of stuff for it, and costs an extra $10 in shipping becuase of "the size of the bundles"

GameStop.com reserves the right to substitute any given game in a bundle if that game becomes unavailable at launch. If this occurs, you will be notified and given the option of canceling your order before launch.

wow.gif. i've heard that one before. back in 99 a friend of mine had to get one of these "bundles" from a place called "play" in west edmonton mall, and ended up with 3 copies of hydro thunder lol.gif

future shop(large canadian electronics store chain) is actually selling the consoles on their own, in the 300 and 400 dollar packages. if only this did it 4 years ago during the ps2 launch. i had to get an $800 bundle that only came with 2 games, a memory card and an extra controller. sad.gif

You can just get the X360 Core Package for $300 and then buy PDZ for either $50 or $60 for the collector's edition. You don't have to get one of those bundles listed by Gamestop or EB games. The official ones are gonna be the Core and Premium packages. These bundles are a way for these retailers to make extra money.

Perfect Dark Zero won't make the launch.

That article also tells of Microshaft trying to hike the prices for the next generation. And if they succeed, then I'm going to be pissed if PC games follow suit as well.

I thought 500 dollars was bad enough. $2000.00 American for the Omega Bundle? That translates even higher for us Canadians.

Christ, I'm getting a system, one controller and one game, Xbox 360 or PS3, it will cost me an arm and a leg already. Anybody who pays that much money is just friggen insane.
