Datalord
Well got this game today and I am currently not happy with it. I don't like the way they totally changed the button config for one. I played the Zoo scenario for a short while just to get hunted down by a zombie elephant and hyenas. Guess I will have to try easy, even though nothing is ever unlocked on easy, it might be the only way I get anywhere. Any of you guys got the game and got any pointers? Also any info about online play would be great and what is this infinity mode that is frequently talked about on other forums? BroDan
I just got 1 and 2 together, want to go through 1 before I tackle 2 just so i don't spoil anything, I want to give 2 a go online though, maybe we can get a game going? Still alive, lurking in the shadows. BF3 Profile
Datalord
Maybe we can, just let me know whenever. I didn't bother with one, no online only bought two for the online, which I will probably last no more than two minutes alive on. Going to practice offline more, trying it on easy see if i'm better, Very Hard needs unlocking, feck knows how people can do that. Mafia Righthand_Man
I played it for a long time when it came out, but I haven't played it in a good few months. I'll whip out the CD and play if you guys feel like a game. Any specific tips you would like?
Datalord
Can EU play with people in America and other regions? I know some games you can't. If you can sure i'll pay, can't say how long i'll stay alive, heh. Easy is better, I know what I'm doing on Wild Things it does seem easy, possibly too easy in some places Until you get smashed by an elephant or something. I think normal is way above my level MHRM what is online like, do you have to wait in a room for players or can you join mid game? Mafia Righthand_Man
In online, you can only join a game in the beginning and that's how many people you get for help in the whole game, so it's important to keep each other alive. As for being able to play with people from other continents, I'm not sure. I'll ask somewhere.
Datalord
I finished wild things tonight, on easy of course, got a D i think. I'm going to sound thick here but are the points awarded for unlocking things like movies and skins? Also online are the levels the same or altered, different rooms and item placements? oh and do the online games last long. Wow can't believe noone plays it judging by the replies. Mafia Righthand_Man
Points unlock character portraits, costumes (skins) which have additional items in their inventory when you start such as extra handgun ammo, herbs, etc., cutscenes, music and sound effects, and some other stuff. As for online, item placement is changed and there are some more modes available. There is elimination mode where there are a certain amount of enemies and you have to eliminate all of them before time runs out. This is a kind of weird mode because each time you go through a door, it sends you to a room from another level so it's hard to keep track of where you have been and killed enemies. Like for example, you might start out in the place in front of the restaurant in Wild Things and going through the door would send you to Jack's Bar from Outbreak 1 and so on. There's also Showdown mode where you battle the bosses from Outbreak 1 and 2 in a row. You can fight the ones from just File 1, just File 2 or you can fight all the bosses from all games in a row without a break. Online games can be really quick or really long. It depends on who you play with. For an example, the "Outbreak" level from the first Outbreak can last about 5 minutes in a speed run. On the other hand, the last level in File 2 can last forever. (It's hard to do a speed run on the last level. I tried it before but got killed) But then again, "Outbreak" from File 1 can take forever if you have people with no idea what they are doing. Also, if you would like and it's not against the rules, I can scan some pages from the File 2 guide.

Datalord
Almost finished the second scenario, going to try them all before I go online. It's took me an hour so far to get the head to take to the subway cart. This is on EASY too! Mafia Righthand_Man
@Datalord: I'd love to play. I haven't in months but I don't know if I can play with UKers. @Tuff Luv Capo: I've been looking for RE4 on PS2 at Hollywood Video and Blockbuster but they haven't recieved it yet. I might just go pick it up at EB today. Did you get it?
