gta_player5
MDG, sorry I think I may have your title of sports trivia master Tough one now: Baseball In the 1986 ALCS Dave Henderson hit a homerun that put Boston Redsox in the World Series, what pitcher did he hit the homerun off of? ajkhan316`
Donnie Moore who gave up the home run with only one more out needed and Henderson at 2 strikes in Game 5 of ALCS. That hit ignited the Red Sox comeback who went on to win that game and the remaining 2 games in the series to qualify for the World Series. Sadly, Donnie Moore was blamed for the loss and he later commited suicide. - FiJiAn 4 LiFe

gta_player5
The first NFL draft was held on Feb. 8, 1936. And Jay Berwanger from the University of Chicago, was the first player ever taken in an NFL draft. The team he was drafted by was the Eagles but they traded his rights to the Bears. Also he didn't think he could make much money in the NFL so he never played in the league.
