I found something in weapon.dat that's interersting this is it

Maybe Rockstar were planning on you being able to pistol whip someone?

Get a weapon and walk right up next to a person, close enough to be in contact. Now fire at them.

There was a plan for a skateboard (HUD remains too) but that was scratched.

those aminations r for the ped wid rolar blades on. i have looked thru that file a lot

space was referring to the fact that if you're standing too close to somebody with a firearm armed, you "pistol whip" them anyways and that's the explanation for such an animation to exist.

Actually i just discovered a handling line named "ROLLER" in san andreas handling.cfg that is NOT referenced to by the vehicles.ide file.. more skateboard or functional rollerblades traces?

I believe it was mentioned on this forum somewhere that R* had some VC stuff still in San An. So it could be the line for the VC rollerskaters.

did the VC rollerskates have a handling line? san andreas still has rollerskates people ingame, it is all just different animation.
