JJHW
Hate... They're just crap, that's my problem with them, they play really simple guitar parts and they're just sh*t musicians... I saw Noel Gallagher in a guitar shop a while back, he was playing the most annoying bassline I've ever heard, made me want to hit him... +FF7F24+
BulletProofMonkey
It doesn't really matter if they're not particularily good musicians, they have a knack for writing catchy, simple tunes, which are always the best, and usually make it to the number one spot Although I can imagine Noel writing some crap basslines

JJHW
Yeah, I agree simplicity can be good, but not in their case... Although, they get points for having Berwick Street on the cover of 'Morning Glory'. +FF7F24+
Swarz
LOVELOVELOVE!!! Oasis are legends... pure and simple. So many of their albums are just so awesome... c'mon, how you all not love some of their tunes. Don't go away... wonderwall... champagne supernova... little by little... importance of being idle (the most recent track... check out the lyrics... fecking awesome)...! Not to mention their battle with Blur in the 90s that made me love both bands. I mean, yeah - both Gallaghers can be pricks alot of the time, but then most people can be. --- AMF --- -= A joke is a very serious thing - Winston Churchill =-

PCJ.
I find them very average, sometimes they'll release a good track, like Importance of Being Idle, other times, it'll be complete sh*te, like Lyla. Don't get me wrong, they have a few good tracks, but they don't seem to come around to often any more.
Matt.
love em, they got some quality tracks, but are going downhill i think
Bizzare
It's the sort of music the bartender sticks on to depress you into emptying your wallet. That being said their music is good at what it does and although they dont really appear to be hitting the highs of the past what they have done will last for decades. In short their class. Ølergodt
Hate. Really. This years Roskilde Festival made me hate them even more. The bright reader already thought "But Oasis didn't play at this years Roskilde Festival!"... And they're right. And then again...Oasis were played a lot at this years Roskilde Festival. By stupid teens, whom would think Oasis invented music. But that's a stupid reason to hate anyone. So, let's just say I'm bored by their music. Goodfella.
They have alot of good tracks, though I much prefer Noel on vocals. To be honest I think the new album is pretty sh*te, I love Part Of The Queue though, f*cking tune... Edited September 5, 2005 by Goodfella. cice
One of my favorite bands. They released some pretty sh*t songs in the late 90's, but other than that, all of their songs are great. Don't believe the truth is their best album since Morning Glory. I love the song keep the dream alive, among others. Have you guys seen the doco 'Live Forever'? It's a documentary about the mid-90's Brit pop rock scene. With interviews with members of Oasis, Blur, Pulp, and I think also massive attack. Pretty good. It focus's on the Oasis vs. Blur battle that Swarz mentioned, plus talks about the political side, like how they helped Tony Blair to become PM. When Liam is pissed that he didn't get invited to meet Tony Blair when Noel did, and how the photo of Noel and Tony togethor marked the end of "britpop". Guglielminpietro
Superb band. Still around today, showing they've stood the test of time. DBTT is their best album since Morning Glory. Oasis were my first 'favourite band' from when I started listening to music properly, and I still love them today. Not quite my favourite band anymore, but still excellent. And you have to see them live as well. soundcloud.com/TheDamnFineCoats

gta3pcguy
I've seen them live 4 times, and it never gets old! My last time was 3rd July this summer at City of Manchester stadium. When they came on it went f*cking mental like I've never seen before. Sends a shiver down my spine hearing the whole crowd sing Live Forever!! Best band to come out of the UK since the Beatles, and stay there at the top throughout. No matter what people say about Oasis, wherever they play it will sell out in an hour flat, only a very tiny select few of bands in the world can do that. Some of the best tracks ever have been written by Noel, fact. I've got all the CDs, all the DVDs, books, posters, everything!! Can't think of anything else I've not said before really, best band in the world. I've actually been face to face with Liam once, but I didn't say anything to him!! He's just too cool. My brother saw Oasis at the airport once, and was just about to go over for a chat, before realising it was the Gallaghers... he didn't fancy a fight...
