Resolution Problem

Windows XP (resolution is set to 1024X768) After installing the program and running it my monitor says OUT OF RANGE. This happens alot with games i install. My monitor is a LCD and i cant figure out how to fix it. It also will say the same thing if i try to lower the resoultion to 800X600. Most of the games i install i can change the resolution to 1024X768 in a settings file before i enter the game. Any ideas on what i can do so my monitor is out of range.

There is a program someone wrote to change the setting of SA withough having to run the game. If you can get a hold of that then you can sort out the resolution. I'm afraid I dont have a link for it but if you search the modding forums I'm sure you'll find it.
