51L3N7 4554551N
I make an animated avatar or signature thats below the limit for imageshack and is 64x64. It doesn't offer me the chance to save the animation as a .gif, only to save as a .psd file, so i put ab3.gif on anyway. I then go to imageshack, go to 'browse', and sure enough its got the file and the little picture that shows that its .gif. I click upload, wait, and then it says 'File integrity check failed. Upload terminated'. What have I done wrong? What do you guys do to save animations? Cheers to anyone that helps, I'm on the verge of pulling my hair out
papanesta
What program are you using...? You need to go to "Save Optimized As..." or whatever it is, then change it to gif.
51L3N7 4554551N
I use PhotoshopCS. How do you 'Save Optimized as'?
papanesta
Well, for a start, you need to use ImageReady for animations. It comes with PhotoShop.
51L3N7 4554551N
Well, for a start, you need to use ImageReady for animations. It comes with PhotoShop. I have done that, its in imageready and the anmiations fine. Must I save it while I'm playing the animation so it identifies it as a .gif file? Edit: On second tries, it has just worked. Thanks paps, you've been very helpful. You can lock this if you'd like Edited September 5, 2005 by 51L3N7 4554551N
