Hi, I've been playing San Andreas for the last couple weeks with very little problems, this is perhaps the biggest one yet.

When I click on the icon for San Andreas, the game doesnt even start. sometimes the hourglass thing that appears next to the mouse comes up, but then quickly appears. If I click on it rapidly, an error messege comes up, and says something about "GTA.exe" I tried reinstalling, running it in windows 2000 compatibility mode, and deleteing gta.set, but nothing chages. If it has any signifigance (I think it might) I hooked it up to my bigscreen last night with an S-video cable, insted of using my HP flat panel monitor with DVI cable like I usually do

I have a HP m1095c media center PC, the specs:

3.2 pentium 4 processer with Hyper Thearding

512 mb PC3200 DDR SDRAM

ATI Radeon x600 pro 256 MB

I usually use a cd crack to play, and keep my dvd hidden away

Any HELP is appritatited, Thanks in advance

Same problem I've just started to get. It done it after I started to use the 100% save game.

EDIT: Sorted it. I just deleted the gta.set file and it worked.

Alright this is what I did, I figured it must be something with the drivers, so i did a "minor system recover" it brought back all the factory settings, for the programs and drivers, BUT it deleted my old user profile in windows cryani.gifcryani.gifcryani.gif I nearly started crying...I lost all my episodes of 24 and other movies!!!!!!!!!! but even worse, the house i've been working on in the sims 2 for the last 4 months is GONE! If anyone knows how to recover the files, please tell me, and i will forever be in your debt... BTW....The user profile folder is still there in the documets folder, its just says i can't access it when i try clicking on it with my Administrator accout
