san andreas font....

badass

Recommended Posts

hi there, I'm new to these forums, I've tried a search, alas with no luck.

I'm trying to recreate the "San Andreas" font, I know its diploma, but I can't seem to get it as it is (black font, with white border then white border)

Is there a pre made font anywhere that I can use??? or cansomeone tell me how to make it please?

Thanks, Martyn

try the font "Pricedown"

That's GTA 3, I used to have all 3 of them although I can't remeber the name for Vice City's font

ok, sorry maybe i didn't explain that well, ok look at the box... ok on the front you can see the font, which i have but the I want to create a white border then a black border, its for some decals I'm making but my bike http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/3821/dsc009054wo.jpg (the one on the left)

I jsut can't think of how to do it, its probably really simple..

he means that he wants to put that white boarder around the black font. look at the front cover on the box.

ok maybe I havn't made myself clear, or you can't read..... I already have the font, its the effect as previously stated that I am trying to create dozingoff.gif

Oh ok I got cha' now. wink.gif

Anyway Im not sure, but I dont think its a font. I think its just something you do to the font, like an effect. I use Adobe CS2 and I had trouble with that to, so I just did a shadow effect, as you can see im my sig.

is anyone able to move this topic rather than me double posting over your forum

Click the 'Report this post' button in the bottom right of the text box and say 'Can a mod please move this to GFX Discussion?'

You can bend the text in PS with one of the buttons at the top of the application. It looks like a "T" being twisted almost...

Thanks for the tip, now i really did get carried away here Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif

To get the r and the t to join i made sure that the r was a capital letter then created a new layer on top and just used a hard paintbrush to cover the gap, then made sure only the grand theft auto layers and the one on top were visible then merged the layers visble. That gave me just one Grand theft auto layer
