Mouzerball1000
I am modding GTA:SA for the PS2, but when I replace the file, it says that since it is on a disk, I cannot add any files and that they are read-only. How do I clear the read only? I tried going to properties, but I can't uncheck it. When I do, it says that it cannot change the attributes of this file. Help! Mouzerball1000
I just want to know what to do. I really don't mind if it takes awhile to do, or is hard to do.
Opius
Spend a couple of hundred dollars on a network adapter, a compatible hard drive and a hot-swap bay for your computer. You CANNOT reburn the SA disc with modified files, even if you have a modded PS2. Copying in file mode strips the boot data from the disk. You NEED a hard drive to mod the PS2 version. What do you mean hard drive and all the extra stuff you mentioned... does this all translate into: needing the computer along with expensive software to properly exchange the downloaded mod files with the data from the PS2 disk? because I also have GTA with the PS2 and want to change things around a bit! Thanks...
ThaKilla
I was modding GTASA on the PS2 before the PC version came out. And the PC version is ALOT better to mod than the PS2. You can goto my GTASA site its out-dated, but that means I still have a brief description of what you need, to mod the PS2 version, in the "Forums" (If you can call it that)
