It'd be fun if he had actually done it. smile.gif

As some dude in that forum also pointed out, noone is that stupid. He also fails to prove anything.

But one odd looking, downsized photo is enough to make people jump in their seats, apparently. tounge.gif

But then again, this doesn't beat the guy wanting a convertible, thus deciding to cut the roof off of his Mini, only to see it collapse under the lack of the supporting roof structure. ~az

Or the guy who wanted to water cool his PC and decided to caulk up the whole thing, took out the DVD player, and then stuck the hose in. Then wondered why it made a big fizzle and smoke came out.

it would work

Hercules had to be designed to withstand the enormous pressure at its maximum depth. Most of the vehicle's on-board electronics are built into cylindrical titanium pressure housings. Any air exposed to the outside pressure will be compressed to one four-hundredth of its original volume, which can destroy other components in the process. To avoid this, the vehicle's electrical components that are not in pressure housings are immersed in mineral oil, which does not compress significantly under pressure, and does not conduct electricity or cause corrosion like seawater. Electric motors, transformers, electrical junction boxes, and much of the external wiring are filled with oil. Hercules also uses the same oil, driven by a hydraulic pump, to activate its arms and thrusters.

I also saw somewhere that this person once got an FX55 CPU and tried to get it in a Socket A motherboard. In the end, all the pins fell out when he apparantly tried to hammer it into the motherboard biggrin.gif

I wish I could afford that card. I would gladly pay the US$600 it seems to cost in the US but it costs like US$1000 here in Mexico, and I need a computer that can handle it. tounge.gif

" my friend can build a computer so i asked him how to do it. hes really good with computers, but i guess everyone makes mistakes. ill try to return it. my friend said that the lines were like fringed edges on a piece of paper and you just need to cut carefully at the line :-[ "

I laughed so f*cking hard at that...
