Fahrenheit has got to with tempreture wich is fitting for this game since as Digïtál £vîl said is could a reference to him reaching the boiling point of his sanity. But i dont know what Indigo Prophecy means and what it's got to do with the games name.

guv
Friday 16th September was a very good gaming day indeed for me. In the morning I got Fahrenheit, and in the afternoon I got Total Overdose - apart from GTA: San Andreas for Xbox and Resident Evil 4 (GameCube), the best games I've bought this year. Fahrenheit is brilliantly cinematic, but isn't the "interactive movie" I was worried it might be. I notice it was developed by the same people (Quantic Dreams) who made the ground breaking Nomad Soul, and like NS you get to control different characters within a unique game. I love the pacing and I love the well realised/likeable characters. Unfortunately, I can see this instant classic being largely overlooked. People will look at it and ask why the graphics aren't dazzling and why you're not doing somersaults and blasting endless hordes with a railgun. Fantastic game. I hope there's a sequel! JLSoryu
I bought Fahrenheit Yesterday on PS2 and it's brilliant, probably going to be this years major overlooked title.
guv
I bought Fahrenheit Yesterday on PS2 and it's brilliant, probably going to be this years major overlooked title. I know. But it can be great to be part of of an "in club" of those in the know. It reminds me of when I had a Dreamcast and was playing this stunning game called Shenmue that most people had never heard of. Bizzare
The story is a bit freaky and im getting worried it's majorly short. I dont think some people will like the sequence style of play which the demo doesnt show. That being said even if ive done it in 3 days it was well worth the 40 squid. Not entirely sure how to hide spoilers so: You have been warned not to read any more of this post. *SPOILER QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PLAYED IT AND GOT REASONABLY FAR* Not that im going to say a lot anyway, just that im at the second childhood flashback. At the moment I cant see how this game is going to end up but my favourite part was definatly having to choose between saving the drowning girl and letting her die, what did the rest of you do? I couldnt let her drown and although they say you run the story their wasnt any real changes in the story for doing so. Just use one, its not that hard On topic: I must admit, from what I've read about the game it looks graphically gorgeous. Its nice and smooth, when I have the money I have no doubt I will buy this

A lot of thught has been put into it especially with all the bonus features.

Bizzare
Nah some games I love em and leave em, sadly this was quite short and your gonna see some interesting to say the least story twists. Good luck
Exkabewbikadid
Yeah, I'm about a quarter of the way through the PC version and it's going fast. This was a great concept but the execution is a bit poor, that is to say, I would've done things quite a bit differently overall as far as the controls and interactivity go. I also would've drawn the storyline out quite a bit more, way too many gaps.
JLSoryu
Well i've completed it, I really enjoyed it but I would have focused more on the adventure side, maybe a few more puzzles and an inventory would have been good for solving certain puzzles. I'm hoping that if they do make a sequal then they will open up more of an adventure aspect of the game.

LLD
I'm so pissed, they pushed back the shipping date to the 28th. And that is only for the U.S. to get to Canada's EB games will probably take to early October..
vALKYR
Just completed it and boy oh boy, I know that someone we know is going to be so pissed. They're like 3 or 4 sex scenes in it with nipples and interactive mouse feature Good Game though, very good indeed. Loved the story and I hope it's going to be a movie one day. guv
I'm sincerely hoping that the game engine isn't dumped as a sequel would be very welcome. I can see many of the superb control methods (eg the interaction and timed dialogue responces) being lifted by other game developers. I just hope they don't ruin the memory of this classic. vALKYR
is it with that hot police detective arrrrrrrrrrr ACHTUNG SPOILERS AHEAD If you do it right (look on GameFaqs for more information) you can first have Sex with Tifanny. (interactive ) ... then Tyler can have sex with Sam but you don't see anything of it and later in the game Lucas has sex with Carla. (the closeup thingie, with nipples and everything.)
