GTA3Rockstar
I want to restore my Windows XP Home Edition SP2, for more space for games... This was a factory built pc so, it came with no XP Cd and I don't know how to restore it to factory state... If someone does, please let me know, its pissing me off... Thanks
GTA3Freak-2001
So it didn't come with even a recovery CD? Most pre-builts either give you the actual XP CD and some will give you some disc that restores the PC to factory specs.

Just a Software Jukebox cd, which is stupid...
Wolf68k
Then you're screwed. What is the maker? Dell, HP, what? Personally I though you'd be happier in the long wrong just going to Newegg.com and buying the XP Home OEM version, that would you won't have to worry about all of the preinstalled crap that you don't need. You may still have to go to the maker's site and get some device drivers.
GTA3Rockstar
I got it... What I did, was goto Start>All Programs>PC Help & Tools>HP PC Recovery Tools CD, Created the Recovery CD... Then I put in the CD and restarted the computer and selected the last option, "System Restore from HP Recovery Partition," or something like that... Thanks for the help though and you may close this topic
