xspudx Posted September 2, 2005 Share Posted September 2, 2005 okay the problem is i cannot install the patch for san andreas (no more hot coffee) because i cannot use the original san andreas disc because it is broken (stupid cd case) so i have to use the crack, i can install the patch yeah but i can't play the game, for the reason i just explained, so i presume i cannot play san andreas multiplayer? Games don't get ruined as quickly if you don't use the CD. Trust me I had the PS2 version and it went bad in a month or two cause it had like melted from hours and hours of play. yodaofborg Posted September 6, 2005 Share Posted September 6, 2005 I thought it worked on more of a *they use there own program to change memory registers, and produce reults* or *feeding the scripting interface to say, spawn a car* kinda thing, it didnt change my .exe (so it was obvious he didnt know what he was talking about anyway ) Ok, back OT, I also patched my san andreas, simply because this mod said it would be supporting the patch, and seeing *not 100% human* like chars in a game make out doesnt do nothing for me my cars staying dirty pissed me off though I dunno how legal this is but I use a dd image I created using linux, mounted in a virtual dvd drive, and it works (although burning the .iso to dvd doesnt ) instead of my dvd, I see this as me using a backup, im sure some software in windows can pull this off too. (i just dont use windows except to play vice city and san andreas, so meh, i dunno) i'd rather use that method than some half haxxored .exe made by some hacker i dont even know Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
