hey, i got version 1.01 so i cant use the car spawner

 

Mission: Spawn me a s.w.a.t tank (bp) & also a fbi truck (bp) - both @ CJ's mums house plz.

Note: Plz if possible do "NOT" use the gta console but instead just a normal car spawner.

Note: U will need version 1.0 cause i dont fink there is a car spawner for other versions yet.

Suggested Fix

 

One suggestion is too rename the patched gta_sa.exe to something like gta_sa.bac and copy a V1 of the executable gta_sa.exe into the directory.

 

Note: You can still run a patched savegame etc using a V1 executable.

 

Start the game. Load the save. You can now use the spawner and alot of the other tools around to do what you want to do. Save the game.

 

Then restore the V1.1 gta_sa.exe and play the game.

 

If you don't want to keep renaming gta_sa.exe files just rename and copy the V1 exe file into the directory as something like gta_sa_old.exe and create a link to it and run it when you need to use car spawner.

haha, was unclear that the 1.0 exec worked with a game that had been patched, thnkx

I've used this fix in helping people before and I've had no problems with the settings. What happened with your settings?

your setting get reset if u change versions, doest matter thou ill prob stick with this 1.0v until mods have updated to support the 1.01.
