Jack_Knife
Okay, so, I have my local server running fine (Apache 2.0.54 Win32 fyi). I can get to it no worries. No one outside my computer can, however. I have NAPT port/ip redirects setup on my router, and they used to work fine. I had port 6425 redirected to my computer at port 80. But it just suddendly doesn't work anymore. I dunno what it is. Whether I go to http://jackknife.servehttp.com/ or my-ip:6425, it doesn't work from outside my computer/network. I know my ISP doesn't block this kind of server hosting, as my friend is doing it on his computer with the same ISP, and it works fine. I'm thinking it's my router that's the problem, but I'm kind of a newb at this stuff, so, yeah. Any help/tips are much appreciated, thanks. (Router/modem is a Speectouch 530, I believe, btw) "You can play faster than Al Di Meola and do it with only one pinky, but if you're not listening to what is going on around you, you might as well just shut up" isn't your croth suppose to be erecting when you have an orgasm? Opius
Tracing route to jackknife.servehttp.com [8.4.112.98] That's a very strange IP for an Australian ISP. Are you sure YOU are in control of that address? Are you sure what you think your IP address is what you think it is?
Jack_Knife
My real IP is currently 144.137.166.106 I dunno wtf that other one is. That is *supposed* to redirect to my ip. no-ip.org have really dropped the ball on this one. Jack_Knife
Yeah, I realise that. But my actual IP address doesn't work either. http://143.238.132.108:6425/ -> see? (Note, that'll change at some point soon, probably) "You can play faster than Al Di Meola and do it with only one pinky, but if you're not listening to what is going on around you, you might as well just shut up" isn't your croth suppose to be erecting when you have an orgasm?
