What you wish san andreas had

Hey, this topic is about... you just heard san andreas is the upcoming game in the gta series, what would you want from it, character, cars. Everything from songs to the boxcover

The one thing i wish it had was some kind of car-tagging key/ability. Say youre in a car, you need to get out for awhile but want to make sure it doesnt vanish as soon as you turn around. You press your key bound to 'tag this car' and, bang, the computer makes a mental note to keep track of that vehicle at all times (until it's destroyed or you exit the game).

 

I've waited through three games now for this kind of feature! It's a complaint i've heard many people grumble about. I don't know anything about programming but it doesnt sound difficult. Jeez R*! (Yeah there's hardware limits and all, but even if there was a limit of 3 tagged cars at a time. Hell, even 1 at a time would be helpful!)

I agree with Helo. I also think they should have put more guns and let you mod motorcycles with nitro and stuff. And multy player!!!!!!!

the multiplayer is not that good, if both characters were able to get in seperate vehicles then that would have been much better

I'm kind of confused by the topic. Are we supposed to pretend it's early 2004 when the game didn't come out? By this we are supposed to guess what San Andreas will have in it?

 

If thats the case, I thought the game was going to have more of a west coast chopper feel with the motorcycles. A even bigger variety of bikes and mods for them. I also expected tons more weapons than the game offers.

Instead of complaining about what San Andreas doesn't have.. be thankful for what it DOES have. Look at all of the advancements from Vice City. Look at the sheer size difference in the map.. honoustly.. how can you complain.. theres so much more stuff in San Andreas.

 

Anyway, I hope they keep the size of the map similar, even add to the size maybe.

 

Here's something I don't think many people have thought of.. how's about they make a thing where you can redo any mission you have previously done.

 

Or how about a skateboard as a rideable item, which uses the same controls as the bicycle.

I wish you could drive those big boats in the harbor.

 

A "Restart Mission" option in the menu-- so you don't have to travel back to the beginning of the mission every time you need to restart it.

 

A "Select Mission" option if you complete the whole game. So that you can play any mission that you want, whenever you want.

 

a zoo (with animals and stuff that can be let out)

 

that would be pretty cool.

Seeing as how you have a baseball bat and there are baseball fields, how about a mini-game where you can join in or else a game you can interrupt and take out a few players?

I wish they had some features from VC that toke it out, a option to replay imssions once you've beat the game and less bugs and glitches and graphical problems.

They should have it like in VC where if u die during a mission, a taxi will pick u up from the hospital and take u back. You should also be able to get in taxis and have them take u to ur marked spot on the map.

i think it wud be cool to replay any mission but there's lots of missions and hard to find the one your looking for and then there would like have to be a menu and i don't know where im going with this

That would of been a good feature in san andreas because of the size of the map, it would be easier to get to missions after you died.

I wish the desert is two times bigger. It feels like the desert is way too populated. There are more towns in the desert than in the countryside. I don't even feel llost in the desert unlike the countryside. This desert has too much stuff packed into a small area.

More realistic burnouts maybe. Since when does a car in real life burn out in one spot, then gain traction 100% a nano second later and drive as if it were being driven normally? Thing is, motorcycles can "peel out". Maybe in GTA4 they'll have the same sort of thing as the motorcycles.

I'd say, bring back the old " Play as Pedestrians " cheat. I MISS that code.

 

Or, at least give the option to play a female character. A hot one.

 

And I agree, there should be female cops, too. And female gangsters.

 

Just more non-degrading female roles.

 

 

edit ; Oh yeah, and when you want to lower the ride height of a car, NO HYDRAULICS. But if there must by hydraulics, at least let it stay at ONE height, not automatically drop to the floor when the car is stopped, and then raise back up when you tap the gas. I hated that about the hydraulic cars in GTA.

I love San Andreas! According to my stats, I have spent more than 200 hours there so far. It is almost perfect. Here is my list of 10 things I would dearly love to add to it, though:

 

10. headphones for the bicycles (so we can listen to our tunes while bunny hopping!)

9. decals for cars

8. tie dye t-shirt (perfect for San Fierro)

7. removable brass knuckles

6. gold earring (to go with all those gold chains)

5. motorcycle boots

4. swimming trunks

3. one really nice restaurant always open (Italian, Chinese, whatever)

2. skateboard

 

and #1: more garages for my hot modded cars!!!!

 

 

ps. it would be wonderful to be able to replay missions later and I think a zoo would be awesome. Baseball, too. What great ideas!!!

Wow seriously, ever since i finsihed the first GTA 3 i have come up with so many new ideas for the game. I dont even think i can remeber them all but i'll list what i can.

 

1. Ability to play any mission after completing the game. like Cj can open a "memories book" in his house and you can select to play any mission in the game. Example. i would select house party. then an OG marker would appear on the map/ outside of Cj's house would be a taxi to take you there and then you can play the mission.

 

2. Mission editor. Ability to open a mission editor, not while the game is on, and create your own missions. Like place red marker here. Choose a letter to represent it on the minimap. Then add breifings, characters from teh stories in the cutscene. Like you could have Mike Toreno talking to you, but all there would be is a breif and his moving. then you ahve to make triggers, like player must enter this vehicle which would spawn after the cutscene, then you have to drive here, fly there, add cornos or w/e, kill this person, follow that person. whatever you want. You could also create your own street races, air races, boat races, add the ability to bring your own vehicle to a race like in vice city. Create your own R3 missions, like my idea is hydra: dog fighting, or newschopper: get the story or a cool one is Stuntplane: stuntshow where you ahve to perfrom stunts for a crowd. Anyways then players can go on the rockstar website and upload their missions. This was people can download missions from the site and play what other people have come up with. This way GTA would never end. As soon as you finsih the storyline missions, you could just dl new missions. the missiosn would also give balanced rewards. IT would be amazing.

 

3. new boats, such as a yacht, a ship the size of corteze's, an undersea minisub, to go underwater. at better underwater scenery and treasures. A minisub with torpedoes, allowing you to do underwater missions.

 

4. New planes, bombers, fighters,

 

5. Interactive scenery. when you crash into a tree with a plane, the tree falls down. being able to ram buildings open with heavy vehicles.

 

6. Fully functional vehicles such as the packer. so you can lock on like 6 vehicles to it and take em wherever you want.

 

7. Smart garages. It gets me mad that the hanger at the airstrip will only open for 4 planes, when i could easily fit three more in, each plane being able to exit the hanger without having to move another plane. I can do teh open garage trick but then the hanger eats any vehicle over the max of 4.

 

8. Interactive safe house. watch wctr on TV, pick up knives, take girlfriends back to your place.

 

9. LAN multiplayer, if not online play. So i could play 2+ players on PC, with friends nearby.

 

10. Smart gang members. I seriously dont get the point of recruiting gang members when they suck so much. Their accuracy is terrible, and their weapons worse. There should be a mission which lets you improve your gang, as in all gnag members now have armor, better acuracy, better guns. You shoudl be able to give your gang guns and armor for a small fee. Better AI. Seriosuly i am doing gnag wars so i go to my turf to recruit some members. then i walk over to ballas turf and on the way half of them get run over, and the other half is stuck behind a wall.

 

11. BRING BACK RAMPAGES!

 

12. Special city events such as parades. add a city hall so you can kill the mayor and instantly get 5 stars.

 

13. Wildlife and weather. Add some animals like deer in the woods and more interactive fish, birds that actaully land on the ground and sh*t on pedestrians. More weather such as hail, snow, icy roads which all effect gameplay, so that you will sink in deep snow.

 

i'll post more ideas as i think of them BUT THEY MUST ADD THE MISSION EDITOR!!!!
