tommiegunz
When you are legit to drive a car, or when you are sick of your current car. And be realistic, don't say you going to buy a Ferrari FFX (only 14 will be produced), or something like that. Unless you're very rich, but I'm almost sure everybody in this "community" is middle class income. It also doesn't matter if the car is new or second hand. Also say what makes the car attractive, i.e price/design/features. Let's begin: Mazda Miata MX-5 Year of build; around 1991-1997 Price class; around €3.000-€10.000 It's well designed, relatively cheap, great driving and have a nice design, and above all it's a roadster/cabriolet, so it isn't hot in the car when it's summer time. I also consider; Mercedes-Benz(Europe)/Frightliner(USA) Sprinter Year of Build; around 1996 Price class; around €7.000-€15.000 It's a large van, what else can I say. Handy if you wan't to move large objects, or build it as a camper and go on holiday. (I read in a Dutch car magazine that it will save on tax or so.) Both aren't expesive second hands, so attractive for me . New Prices Mercedes-Benz Sprinter starting from €17.500 (exclusive tax etc) to €24.340 (exclusive tax etc). Mercedes Benz Home Mazda MX-5 (current some site's down) Mazda Home Perhaps I'm gonna buy a Dacia Logan. It's a Romanian car, but inspired and owned by the French Renault. The most expensive version is €7.000 or €8.000, which is extremly cheap. Dacia Home
Cran.
Errr. Late 80ies-esk BMW 635CSi for like 10-15k AUD. Thats if I don't get the 944 that is. I wouldn't buy one of the older MX-5's, way to small and that shape shown there lacks refinment. The new MX-5 is pure sechs, but maybe a too small car to be practical as I said before. I just came across some Aziatic car manufactures, and I saw two site with both cheap and fun cars. The first is Brittains cheapest car, and that won't change I belive, it's the Perodua. Also I just discovered Geely, which have a pretty nice Delivery Van if you ask me. Two not well know companies but its cheap.
Mega
I heard you have HUGE taxes on new cars in Danemark, which sucks a lot. For 2006, if everything goes well i might be buying a Mercedes A170cdi and an Infiniti FX35/Range Rover/VW Touareg (not decided yet) Signature soon. dominguero
In holland the tax advantages are going to go away soon. The "grey" license plates are going to dissappear. And besides, would you really like driving that? Next car im going to buy? Who knows, whatever comes along thats not expensive, rwd, and has 150+ hp. If not im not changing cars. Another bike will be next addition to the family. Especially since with the extra money i hope to have aquired soon, i will be upgrading (and legalising) my car, so no "new" car for me just yet. btw dude, you live in holland right? An Mx5? Cause its nice for the hot summer days? There are hot summer days in holland? There werent last time i checked...

123abc
I'm thinking like an 80's Chrysler New Yorker (rwd) or something with the same body style. Make it look like a sleeper, stock hubcaps. But throw a real hot either 340 or 360 mopar. I think that'd be the sh*t.
JJHW
Umm, I don't have a 'middle class income'. But nonetheless, I'll scrape together enough fora Mk3 Ford Capri; Which look like this; Hopefull Ill se the 2.0 litre 'S' model, nice car . +FF7F24+
tommiegunz
I think if I buy the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter that I going to buy a bull bar. Bullbars (Watch it: Dutch:p), they even got a film). It makes the car look more special, and stand up from the crowd. EDIT: Hahaha on a Fiat Panda (very small car) a relatively large bull bar. Very funny And JJHW edit the size of your picture dude, its way to large. Edited August 30, 2005 by tommiegunz

JJHW
That image is tiny, it's not even 1024 across... And Bullbars are just stupid, yeah way to make your car even more dangerous to pedestrians... +FF7F24+

Duders
My pick would most likely be a 2004 Toyota Echo Hatchback w/ Air Conditioning. They're prettty decent looking cars with a small price tag of about $15,800 CDN w/ Air Conditioning. (not I would take mine's in blue) I would also love to have a 2004 Mazda 3 w/ Air Conditioning. For maybe $2000CDN more, you would get the same features as well as a bigger car. My only complaint is about the engine. They all use the basic 4 cylinder engine which only gets about 24 MPG. I would much prefer to have the slightly smaller 2.0 liter engine (only avaliable in Asia) for more ifficientcy. My last pick would be a 1998 Honda Accord V6. Those things come fully loaded and also with a powerful V6 engine. Then again, the main thing taht will prevent me from getting thi car is the fact that it is not as efficient as the cars that I have listed above. These things ride great and they're somewhat less than $40,000 CDN when they were brand new. -duders Edited August 30, 2005 by Duders

I<love>AMG
I will be getting a MAZDA RX8 next year in May (my 18th birthday), unless I will piss my dad off. I said I want a used BMW M3, but he said I am too young and will probably look stupid in it which is bullsh*t. Then I said I would like to have a Mercedes CLK320, used one as well, not more than 1 year old, but he said it's kind of big, WHAT?!!!?? Then he said he likes the new GOLF and he want's to get the best GOLF for me (he meant GTI), but I said hell no, because I hate GOLF's, they are just ugly as hell.... So finally he said that he likes Mazda RX8 and he want's to get it for me. So if we won't have any financial issues I will get it or unless I will piss him off by doing bad at school he will get it for me....

tommiegunz
Hmmm, a Mitsubishi Lancer (Sedan) is also lookin very acctractive, for a price of €18.999 with many standard options, its pretty much as a bargain. The stationwagon is cheaper (starting €15.999) but it's not as nice as the sedan. The top is of course the Evolution 8, but because it's €50.999 I can't afford it. For my first car I'll probably get a Toyota GTS Corolla becuase it's so damn sexy (call me crazy) I don't really care to much what I get as long as it doesn't crap out on me or isn't really slow. Just make sure it ain't rusty, those cars can rust better than any '70s Italian car ever could. I've been offered two of those for free, but they were too rusty to bother with. Check door bottoms, around the base of the rear windscreen, sill panels, boot floor and floors for rust. If you find large holes in any of those areas, walk away. And you can't go wrong with a muscle car! - I currently have a '71 Holden HG Kingswood sedan. - I can get my hands on an mid 70s Holden LX Torana for $100, I plan to buy it once I organise somewhere to store it. - I plan to get a (71-74) Holden HQ Kingswood sedan, to use as a historic class race car. Value ~ $300 - $6000. - I'd like to get a Valiant Ute preferably a VE, VF or VG model (~68-71). Value ~ $500 - $7000.

Why? Whynot? Although it's pretty large/huge, it is practical. And with some style sets it's gonna be sexy. Perhaps lower the front or higher the rear. It's just my style, you might love smaller cars, but I like big cars as well. Off-topic: Today started IT in The Netherlands. What a differance with my previous school. I do like big cars, infact i really like big cars. But a van.... I dont know... Ive seen a brabus tuned Vito around here, doesnt look bad by all means. I suppose if its what you want then thats cool. For me personally i go for power/handling in a car. Looks come 3rd. If it was the loading space id need, id prefer to get a pick up. Especially in Holland, a nice LPG powered american pick up. But at the end of the day you should get what you really want, if thats what youd be happy with, then good luck on finding what you want.

Thank you You know what's cool if you have a van, like the Sprinter. You CAN build in a hot-tub, and no don't laugh it is possible. For who have seen (a lot of) Pimp My Ride episode's, know that Nate's Ford Ecoline has a build in hot-tub, and that van is even smaller than the Sprinter, so it is possible. Of course you must not be affraid of water , and have a decent amount of money. I just came across this pretty machine: It's a Merc. Benz Sprinter 2.9 312 D Combi from 1998 (but seen from the taillight it MUST be not older than 2003, 68.489 km (not very much) and it's a camper. But you'll pay €39.950, so thats pretty expensive. I'd rather look for something like this: It's €6.900 build in 6-2000 it's a 2.3 208D. This is what I'm looking for.
