Ok so this topic is about you sharing stories about things that happen when you play.

 

So you can share a story about you fighting a n00b in BF2 or dying form a level 6 in WoW. Share your storeis about stupid people you have met,or nice or anything.

Boy people have no team spirit in Runescape.

I once witness a freestyle rap battle in a Halo 2 game.

I was playing Counter-Strike Source and some guy flashed and killed me.

 

Guy: Did I flash you?

 

Me: Yea

 

Guy: I'm sorry

 

Me: Its ok

 

Guy: The next time you see me I'll let you kill me

 

Me: Dude, I don't care, you were just defending yourself

 

Guy: Are you sure?

 

Me: yea

 

Not the best story, but it's all I have.

Myself and a bunch of people in my clan were playing BF42: Pirates and we're all on TeamSpeak and to get in the mood many of us (ok mostly me) were talking like pirates.

The new map was loading and I say, "Arrr...Blackbeard's Booty."

This one guy says, "I've got to get me some of that" talking about something completely different, but the damage was done and we were already ROTF.

 

 

Same group but this time play BFV and still on TeamSpeak and all in the same room. About 5 or 6 us total.

Myself and one other guy are VC, everyone else is US, the map was Game Warrden.

I'm making my way north along the left side of the map about as stealthy as I can, with this other guy on my tail.

We're about 300meters from the US mainbase and I hear a whispered voice say, "Hey Wolf, is there where the huey spawns."

"YOU MORON!!!" (not really what I yelled but I'm trying to keep this G-rated)

Everyone else is LOL and making a 180 heading back to their main and about 5secs later we're dead.

one time in BF2 I was driving an APC and someone on my team ran into the side of it and died. they punished me for a team kill

Not much of a story really, but I was playing BF42 one night, and out of nowhere we all spawned at the top of a large hill in jeeps. We then proceeded to race down the hill. I ended up flipping over and shooting at the other cars. Only happened once at a friends house so I don't know if it's normal, I was amused.

One time when I was playing BF1942 online I pissed off the entire ememy team and when they came after me I swam real far out into the water and they couldnt kill me. I kept telling them "youll never catch me f*ckers!".

I'm always playing COD and have had some really good games before. One game consisted of every member on my team being killed but me. The other team (the nazi's) went and planted the explosives that would end the game if they blew up. Being the last one on the other team, of course me and everyone else thought for sure I would die since they had easily 5 guys still. But luck was on my side, I took one out, then two, and before I knew It I was at the place with the explosives. I quickly get down and start to defuse, of course this alerts the remaining enemies and they rush back to try and kill me. Next thing I see a gernade flying into the room landing a ways away. I'm thinking, "sh*t I gotta just take the hit and keep defusing" That gernade goes off, almost killing me. Another gets tossed in right after that. I knew this one would kill me, but I had to get the defuse, if we defused we would win. And literally just as it finished the gernade went off killing me. but I won the game for my team less then a second before hand by completing the defusing. That was such a great game.

Not really funny, however..

 

In an official capture-the-flag tournament in BF1942, in the map of bocage I witnessed the most badass thing ever.

 

A guy drove into our heavily mined base with a jeep, stole the flag barely surviving the slaugher of our bullets, got back in the jeep and drove to the church near the Axis base. He was screwed, 10 seconds left in the game, all exits sealed off by tanks. Then an Allies plane swoops down, single seater, pilot jumps out, plane glides towards the ground, the man with the flag exits the jeep, jumps in the air, gets the plane and flies back to his base.

 

The flag carrier couldn't get the flag back to base in the 5 seconds he had left, but he still did an amazing switch-a-roo with the teammate.

 

I liked it.

Ah, how I miss my local LAN house. Maybe I'll drop by there for some rounds of CS again these days.

 

Once, the server was all laggy, and it went down. I said that I would create it. While creating, I enabled Friendly Fire on. Got another nickname and kapow, n*gger!

 

Or the HEs thrown on the buying time from one side of the map to other. The map was really small, full of houses, and I knew a way to get on every rooftop.

Let me take you back a few years...

 

Me and few friends in one of the guys houses playing N64, The kinda night where the ciggys taste and smell different, know what I mean?

 

So anyway, we are in the middle of a comp on Street Fighter 2 and one of the guys falls asleep on the sofa, we carry on playing, I owned them all by the way, and the guy who fell asleep all of sudden, grabbed his d*ck, and moaned "ooohhhh CHUNG LI" and then moaned a bit more and that was it. He was having a wet dream over Chung Li from street fighter. We didnt really see him much after that.

Socom 1: Extreme Survivor - Must have been about a year ago now, before I got my PC connected to the Internet, was playing Socom 1 with my Clanmates. (I used to be in A&E, before they disbanded and became TR)

 

We are all going around the map, trying to get the explosives to plant the bomb at the enemy base, I slowly hear all my colleagues getting killed, and realise I'm on my own with 4 enemies left...

 

Now I'm not the greatest of players on Socom, so I immediateley start looking for places to hide, I managed to take out 3 of them, then I hear the words, bomb planted. I run back to our base and take out the guy who planted the bomb, the couldn't work out how to defuse the bomb. I died valiantly. (Well, I think so anyway....)

 

 

I've also been known on BF1942 on PC to be the annoying Soab who is always in a spitfire, and somehow manages to get kills even when he's hopelessly outnumbered.

Lol I remember playing Operation Flashpoint once in a ctf, got crippled then a jerk in a jeep tried to run me over. No lie with 1 bullet in the face he died and the jeep strolled towards me, with his corpse out I crawled in and scored the point.

 

Another in that game was one day I was on fire agaisnt some of the legends of the game and got branded as a well known cheat mid game, sadly I made the mistake of revealing my real identity and crashed and burned on the scoreboards there after.

 

And my final OFP moment was in the Serialkiller/Cops & Robbers maps. They'd just been released and were shoddy, despite that a cop player chased me and my partner in crime after we stole a car, by pure fluke we jumped out as it rolled into a river concealing our guilt. I guess you'd have to be there as the convo was piss your pants funny and even more so when my partner got in the cop car and ran him over, off to the bank we went.

 

OFP = Best game/simulation ever, I will never change my opinion on a game that stole 2 full years of my life and have left me happy that it did.

Only one comes to mind right now.

 

I was playing Counter Strike with my friends in computer class. It was 9 vs 9 or something.

 

We played in Dust and I shot my teammate by accident and offered him to kill me. He did so.

 

Next round starts and I get shot right away. So from that point on I just typed in the number for the shot gun and blew his ass to pieces. Other people started to join in. Now most people on my team had negative kills and only 2 or 3 people survived to go play.

 

Needless to say that game blew ass.

A little off topic but is Battlefield really this good? So many storys and good things I heard from it but I played a demo a year or so ago and it was so boring..

Does it become more fun when you play online?

That depends on if you are playing with people you know vs. people you don't know. It's fun if you know most of the players on the server. Alot of others playing it have become so good at it theyre cheap and it becomes boring really quick. I mean I saw people running around and Jumping making kills over and over again. Whoever thought troops in WWII jumped four feet in the air with a pistol obviosly didnt pass History class. BF1942 is fun but the gameplay is so full of sh*t. I took out a Russian tank with just three grenades now thats belivable.

I think everyone is talking BF 2 which is Battlefield 2 but ya the second one is good, first too but gets more laggy online if you don't have a good system or connection.

 

My story would be in Americas Army where in a map called McKenna, I had thrown a grenade while I was last and I killed 7 people with it out of 10 players in the same team and that was my first best moment in the game, 4 were in the same clan though.

I played some video games once. Meh.

 

You should try playing games before they're ready for release - theres some great fun to be had with racing games when the collision hasn't been set yet... And testing multiplayer games can turn into a very strange mish mash of people falling out of levels and such like.

 

I love my job. I recommend you all quit whatever jobs you do now and get into games testing.

No one said the BF was realistic. It's more of an homage to WWII.

If you want something more realistic for WWII then try COD, although it has the same problem with bunny hopping freaks but it's even worse in that in COD you can script it which is something you can't do in BF (thank God).

 

Sorry I know that's off topic, but I just wanted to get that out there.

Well this is not much of a story but here it goes.

 

On my Playstation2 I was play MOH:Frontline and I was ducking beside some rubble. Well I threw a gernade at a tank with some guys around but the tank did not blow up. So then I stood up and I looked at a tank and then Some guy shot a rocket at my face and I was it directly coming at my face and BAM! My guy just fell down so I had to restart the level.
