Save icon has gone!

I am currently playing gta san andreas, and i cannot save it because all the save icons have gone, im currently in San Fierra having just done the Wozza missions, I dont wont to lose all the progress that i have made, anyone know wat i have done wrong?

This is a random guess but is there any chance you are still on a mission. Kill yourself and see what happends.

Ive done a few missions since this prob has come up, and still the save game icon hasnt appeared, could it be something to do with the girlfriend?

Sometimes, I pickup Cesars YAY calls and don't know it. You have to chase after a car and ram it to pick up it's cash. If you don't want to do it, just do Blow up all cars or wait a few minutes.

Ive checked on the map, and there isnt any yellow icons, the only 2 missions i can do at the moment are Wozza's missions where u have to go to the airport to pick up a car and the mission where u have to destroy the car roadbloks with a rocket launcher.

Have you tried killing yourself?

Died a few times, although i still have all my weapons when i respawn, but still no succsess, even gone back to los santos to check and still no luck,
